It's SoundClash!

In this event we celebrate the one hit wonders of the 21st century so far.

In each round, two songs will go head to head to come out on top, with each credited artist only having a single UK Top 40 hit to their name. In each case, you're voting for your favourite song. The winning songs will then go into a grand collection of one hit wonders to be voted for once the opening rounds are complete.

These are the two songs going head to head this round;

Unklejam – What Am I Fighting For? {#16, 2007} 🇬🇧

Unklejam were a British R&B and garage group who emerged in the mid-2000s, combining smooth vocals with contemporary UK garage and dance influences.

Of Monsters And Men – Little Talks {#12, 2012} 🇮🇸

Of Monsters and Men are an Icelandic indie folk-pop band formed in 2009, known for their atmospheric sound, rich harmonies and storytelling lyrics.

Little Talks for me!

Little Talks ❤️

I still love Little Talks, so that.

Unklejam was not a favourite of mine particularly.

Little Talks for me.

Unclejam. Little Talks is one of those overly sweet, sickly songs from the indie boom that I just can't stand at all.

Voted for Unklejam its like an early slightly tamer Black Eyed Peas - Rock That Body sound production.

Little Talks is good but was overplayed on radio.

You mean folk pop boom, but at least it was better than Lumineers - Ho Hey in the over-sweet regards.

Not a one hit wonder him, but nice idea. Always up for more of them.

Of Monsters And Men.

Easily Unklejam, which I DNQed with in BJSC! I felt it was ahead of its time, turns out people weren't much of a fan of it in 2011 either

I do like 'Little Talks' too though
