June 12, 200718 yr i hope bon jovi can get number 1 in the album chart i bought the album friday and its brilliant, are they far behind i wonder???
June 12, 200718 yr Worst song? Nonsense. The reason this is out is because it was released before SITWOC's double release and has ready made remixes to stick on as b-sides. The usual re-release post-success cop out. Also since this one doesn't have an E4 trailer to promote it, Top 40 is pretty good going. Well its probably my least favorite from a semi-decent album. Only the remixes of this go anywhere for me; its much too slow and they are far more capable of more. I agree given the minimal promo this seems to have done rather well for them if it can stay top 40 to the end of the week :o
June 12, 200718 yr AWFUL charts this week - Both singles and albums - One of my worst ever charts <_< .
June 12, 200718 yr I don't know why everyone seems shocked that Rihanna is not #1, 4 weeks at #1 is a long time, it had to fall eventually but it was getting a bit overplayed, I just knew White Stripes would take her on quite easily To be honest Mikey I think White Stripes will struggle to hold on. But there again my recent predictions have been poor to say the least.
June 12, 200718 yr White Stripes? #01? :manson: They have done hardly ANY promotion, it's just hype. I absolutely HATE it when that happens <_<
June 12, 200718 yr I knew Kelly Clarkson would be low top 20 in the first set of midweeks. She'll climb up to about #12 by the end of the week but won't make the top 10.
June 12, 200718 yr  i so hope Kelly Clarkson doesnt make top 10 Hope Enrique can reach #2 with Rihanna #1 or other way round ^_^
June 12, 200718 yr I like the White Stripes, but I don't see what's so special about Icky Thump. Maybe it'll grow on me. Umbrella is getting boring now, and has already had a month at number one, but I'd still much rather see it at number one than that god-awful Enrique ping-pong song. That's a terrible song even by his standards.

June 12, 200718 yr Travelling Wilbury's are an 80s supergroup, well ish. I can guarentee that most on here won't like them, though they are pretty good. Certainly better than Rihanna, Bon Jovi and QOTSA. It'd be great to see them number one! :D Edited June 12, 200718 yr by RabbitFurCoat
June 12, 200718 yr Kelly Clarkson is only Top 20 in the 'midweeks' because iTunes had trouble yesterday with it. This was CONFIRMED by Kelly's management. So, Top 20 after 1 day of physicals, when everyone else has had Sunday, is pretty good. And now it's climbing 10-20 places an hour on iTunes. Definately top 10 :)
June 12, 200718 yr Geez. Kelly climbed from #90 - #56 in a space of a couple of hours :o on iTunes that is :P Edited June 12, 200718 yr by UnfaithfulJack
June 12, 200718 yr It wont. Stop being a hater. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.
June 12, 200718 yr I think Editors and Lee Mead and possibly Cherry Ghost may stop her being top 10 by the end of the week...
June 12, 200718 yr Author Travelling Wiburies are Tom Petty, Roy Orbsion, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne & Bob Dylan sadly Roy and George are no longer with us, some oldies might know a minor 80s hit 'Handle With Care' which funny enough was re-issued last week as a single

Though I prefer the cover on it which features on the album I'm named after. :P
June 12, 200718 yr Who the hell are The Travelling Wilburies? Heh heh - ever heard of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty? As for whoever said the White Stripes don't deserve to be number one because they've 'done no promotion' I'd a) beg to differ - they've been on Jools Holland and given away a 7" single with the NME B) like to ask you why massive payola campaigns should result in number one singles? Isn't it nice that a song gets there on merit for a change instead of just being the song most frequently played on daytime radio 1 and MTV?
