June 17, 200719 yr 18 Lee Mead- Any Dream Will Do [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1739785.JPG Chart Run: 18 [1 wk] Release date: 18-6-2007 Availability: available for pre-order Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1739785 Label: POLYDOR If you haven’t seen it, 'Any Dream Will Do' has an average audience of 6 million every Saturday. Viewers are asked to choose who they think should play the lead in a brand new West End version of the musical 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', with millions registering their votes each week. Following the phenomenal success of the Saturday evening TV show, 'Any Dream Will Do' comes the single of the same name. Performed by Lee Mead, who was crowned the winner by public vote, the track will be 2007's official Children In Need single. - HMV Video here: i1BTVN8K7vA track listing 1. Any Dream Will Do 2. Close Every Door 3. Any Dream Will Do [Karaoke Version] Why do I have a feeling that this song will be a contender for #1 next week maybe because the Jason Donovan version of the song reached #1 in 1991.
June 17, 200719 yr We dont need the whole Beatles are amazing, more people need to know their music blah blah. Its a bloody good job the kids of today dont all buy the Beatles, because if the music of 40 years ago was still in the chart, I for one certainly wouldnt listen! ^_^ Then why are The Travelling Wilbury's #1 in the Album Chart; Why have the likes of Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas, U2, Jack Johnson, Corinne Bailey Rae, etc covered John Lennon songs for a charity album; Why have the likes of Oasis, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics, Travis, The Fray, Magic Numbers, etc & reforming for the first time in 3.5 years the Libertines recording new versions of songs from the Beatles Sgt. Pepper's album? The answer is simple. Because they were the best. To think it has taken Maroon 5 longer between recording their first and second albums than it took the Beatles to record their debut single "Love Me Do" & their seminal album Sgt. Pepper's (in otherwords 8 albums in 4.5 years).
