Simon Cowell knows nothing about music, but unfortunately he knows that there is a large Robson & Jerome, Westlife, Candle In The Wind 97 fanbase out there who watch This Morning & Loose Woman and buy the same recycled pap over and over again. :manson:

Who cares about the quality of the product, it's $$$ that counts at the end of the day. Personally, I think the man's a genius for rush releasing an album so soon after Britain's Got Talent with a load of Il Divo cast-offs on it and just sit back, watching it fly to No 1. If he'd left it any longer, Mr Potts 15 minutes of fame would have been up and no-one would have given a hill of beans for his opera covers. Cowell seems to have the magic touch for appealing to the general public, no matter how naff you think some of his acts are. I wish I had his business acumen for delivering hits...

i would like rihanna to stay number this week setting a new record for this century and also matching whitney houstons ten week stay at number 1 overall looks like a very boring chart come sunday,i hope timbaland is number 1 next week

I really hope Song 4 Mutya can be no.1 next week :(

Tell me, what the f*** are you doing on a forum that celebrates music? We're all aware of the cynical business machinations of Simon Cowell but surely they need not be applauded by anyone.
