louis Walsh has been boasting that Shayne will get to no. 1 with this single for months now. I bet he, and all at his 'office' are downloading for England! (And Ireland!!!) Then getting Shayne to appeal to his fans - mostly kids with little money - to get him to no. one by forking out on d/ls :angry: - and on top of that doing numerous single signings. it will be a hollow victory if he does snatch no. 1, and they all will know it. Shame really, I though Shayne had principles :rolleyes: .

Personally I don't think it is principled to beg your child fans to fork out for lots of d/ls they don't need. That's my opinion, and I'll stick with it thanks.

Tonnes of HUGE artists do signings. From recent memory Mariah Carey does signings, I hardly think she's in Shayne's league. :mellow:

I just don't understand how he's turning out badly? :wacko: He's only doing some signings and said he wants to be #1. :unsure:

 

When I say threat I mean like are the Will fans worried incase Shayne surpasses Will's success (as unlikely as that is)? Oh no you didn't mention Will, I did. I'm just really trying to understand why you're all so reserved and friendly but whenever someone mentions Shayne's name you all go into some kind of crazed frenzy and try to diminish his past and future success for seemingly no reason. :mellow: I'm confused because Shayne is the only artist you all seem to do it with when there are artists like McFly who resort to a lot worse tricks to ensure success but from what i've seen you seem to pass up criticising them and others like them. :unsure:

every1 does singings, the babes do, ga do, and im sure every artist does.

 

ive been 2 a busted 1 (with my sister) still its a great way 4 fans 2 get a photo + autograph. theres nowt wrong with the odd session ie a new album launch

 

but 2 do 3 or 4 in a week is sad and desperate. i would love 2 hear what lois walsh has 2 say when the babes win on sunday

I am pleased for both Shayne and Sugababes - I am no huge fan of Shyne, but there is no need to have a go all the time. Also, it is nice to have some British singers back in the Top 2.

has the shayne ward post been confirmed elsewhere? maybe he isn't trailing behind the sugababes, i'm skeptical....this could be a sly tactic by louis walsh to get shayne's fans to multiple buy to secure him #1 making it seem shayne is behind. i'd be very surprised if has lost his lead what with all the promo he has done plus his signings. his physicals should be really good and boosting him. if the sugababes are outselling him on downloads alone then it shows how crucial it is to have a download hit cause those buyers rule. all the effort louis has gone too plus he is combining downloads and physicals in the first week of release, it would be interesting if the underdogs download only sugababes can deny him this sunday.

Apart from MySpace and his official site the answer is no, to be honest I would prefer Sugababes for that extra chart fact, making it the highest jumper inside the top 40 to go to #1 :w00t:
