 As a fan, I'm glad Take That are doing so well. Sales are more important that where it ends up in the chart. Personally I love the song and it's one of my favourites this year so I hope it has some staying power.

Even though I've not heard the song all way through, it's great that Leona is doing so well. I'm not a fan per se but she was my favourite on X Factor and I thought she deserved to win. It's a shame to see the TT / Leona rivalry in this thread as they helped one another only last year (I'm sure she would have won without their "duet", but I think it probably got a lot of TT fans to vote for her and some Leona fans to take some interest in them).

I really like Britney's new song. Might not be her best, but it's memorable. Not took keen on the video but the song is good.

My biggest surprise was that Backstreet Boys aren't in the top 20. It's similar to some of their other songs but I think it's great.

I would have expected more than that for Leona, but I don't trust what the Newt says

If she was 100k for Mon-Tues, 126k for Mon to Thursday sounds a bit wrong to me.

Unless its 126k for Mon to Wed, which seems the track to be tailing off quite a bit.

So if Britney doesn't stick at #3 this weekend does that make her the first song to fall down the top 40 in its physical release week?

I'm sure somebody said that.

Well seems as The Sun is normally out early morning I'd guess she has sales from Mon-Weds?

Anything to knock the deluded fans further down the ladder.

Sorry guys MW site is playing up this morning, and I literally have to go out soon, as soon as I return, I see if the site lets me have access.

Well seems as The Sun is normally out early morning I'd guess she has sales from Mon-Weds?

I agree, she would have written the article late yesterday

126k sounds believable to me...wednesday is one of the quietest days in the week

no worries mikey

hoosiers are hanging by a thread with worried about ray yesterday and feist have slumped a long way again

Comparing the ratio of sales for Leona to Take That this week:

66k/29k for Sunday-Monday = 2.276

60k/27k for Tues-Wed or Thurs? = 2.22

Overall: 126k/56k = 2.25

So the two acts are still selling at the same ratios. If Leona has tailed dramatically so have Take That at exactly the same rate. Which I'd find strange. Hence I'd guess they are Wednesday's figures.

Do you ever speak for yourself?

Sometimes

But seriously.. I cant stand Britney :puke2:

it will be big selling this week no matter who goes number 1! A nice boost for the singles market! I still think Leona will do it (quite easily too!)
