October 25, 200718 yr What about Round Round and Freak like me? They sold more than 200k but u've got to add in the sales that it accumulates on the way out of the charts
October 25, 200718 yr but u've got to add in the sales that it accumulates on the way out of the charts But you said that it was their second most succesful. It's not yet though! When the single stops selling, then we can see how well it has done. It prob will pass Round Round and Freak, but it hasn't yet.

October 25, 200718 yr So...if Britney stays outside the top 3, would that make her the first artist to fall on the charts from download only to a full physical release???
October 25, 200718 yr So...if Britney stays outside the top 3, would that make her the first artist to fall on the charts from download only to a full physical release??? No... to my knowledge there has been at least 2 this year Dan Le Sac v Scroobious Pip - Thou shall allways Kill - Fell 1 place on Physical relase as Did Pul McCartney and Dance Tonight ;)
October 25, 200718 yr I would still say Britney. Le Sac vs Pip and McCartney were both only very limited 7/12" releases and had already fell by the time the physical came out. They both still clmibed in the week of release though. Britney will be the first act ever to fall in the week of physical release within the top 40. There have been a few others - Weird Al Yankovic, Orson and some generic rap/hip-hop trash. But all from way outside the top 40 and no one will care.

October 26, 200718 yr Full list of songs to not improve position with a physical release thanks to PaulGilb Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Thou Shalt Always Kill (34-46-41-) 7" only Paul McCartney - Dance Tonight (34-26-52-xx-xx-xx-67-) 7" only Thanks for the list, but don't these two songs show climbs on physical release or am I reading the figures wrong? EDIT: I'm guessing you mean they did not improve their <peak> position....ignore me :) Edited October 26, 200718 yr by Brutarn
October 26, 200718 yr I don't think that list is very fair. The ones that were number ones on Downloads alone should be exempt. They didn't fall in position!
