The Syco/RCA Label Group single is currently outselling closest rival Rule The World by Take That by more than two units to one. The boy band’s Polydor single will make a dramatic climb from its debut position of 46 last week following its physical release yesterday. Island’s McFly, who have debuted at number one with three of their previous four singles, look likely to have to settle for a lower chart placing this time with newly-released The Heart Never Lies. Meanwhile, the latest Sony BMG Elvis Presley re-issue, If I Can Dream, will be among the chart’s highest new entries this Sunday, as will be Big Brother’s new Oasis single Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, which is download only. Other new entries to the singles chart this Sunday will include releases by Polydor’s N-Dubz and Courteeners and RCA Label Group’s Backstreet Boys. Hoosiers are facing the prospect of possibly dropping out of the Top 10 with their single Goodbye Mr H, but this could be outweighed by their debut RCA album The Trick To Life entering at one on the albums chart. It is currently leading the market, although is only a few thousand units ahead of Island’s Sugababes with Change and V2/Mercury’s Stereophonics with Pull The Pin, which is expected to lose its chart-topping status after just a week. Sixties veterans Van Morrison and Neil Young can expect Top 10 new entries this Sunday with Morrison arriving via new Exile/Polydor best of Still On Top – The Greatest Hits and Young entering with new Reprise/Warner Bros studio album Chrome Dreams 2. Outside the Top 10, around eight other albums are expected to make debuts in the Top 40, among them new releases from Columbia’s Coheed & Cambria, Reprise/Warner Bros’s Erj Tankian, Mute’s Dave Gahan, UMTV’s Michael Ball and Mercury’s Orson whose second album Culture Vultures is presently the week’s 29th biggest seller.
