Posted January 15, 200818 yr Adele on course for top ten Sourice : MW 10:27 | Wednesday January 16, 2008 By Ben Cardew XL’s much-tipped Adele is on course for a top ten entry in the singles chart this Sunday, with Chasing Pavements. Retail reports suggest that the single, her first for XL, may even secure a top five position. Another act that appeared in many tip lists for 2008, Manchester’s The Courteeners, also look set for a high new entry, with What Took You So Long (A&M) set to debut just outside the top 10. Madness also look set for a top ten placing with their single NW5 (Lucky Seven). On the albums chart, Scouting For Girls are likely to reach number one with their eponymous debut album (Epic), which released last September, while British Sea Power look set to secure a top five placing with their third album Do You Like Rock Music (Rough Trade).
