I think Positiva deserve a bit of recognition for refusing to re-release Fragma in a cheesey Cascada kind of way, instead opting for something that is pretty tasteful! Think the break out at the end is a bit of a damp squid really, but still a decent update.

And Funkerman 'Speed Up' is ancient! Had no idea this was getting a commercial UK release. Will be a total flop, a complete waste of time.

I think we got this impression because SKO and CTS were both b-list for weeks and then A-listed right when they became popular. I duno, its just very "dont A-list them until we're sure its cool enough to do so" where i think acts like rihanna and arctic monkeys etc are just considered cool so they put them where they like.

Can't Speak French did the best it could in regards to the Radio 1 playlist. It started at the C-list like 95% of the new records, moved up to the B-list the next week, and then the A-list. It couldn't have gone faster really, records dont go C to A-list. Sugababes were there first cos they were added a week earlier

Scouting for Girls & Elliot Minor C List  :cheer: lol (I like them and what??? lol)

And Cascada is B List! :w00t:

Shame bout Alphabeat not being A List yet! :(

All Radio 1 DJS are 30 something people who are trying to be cool and try to get the younger crowd in! They get on my nerves... Jo Whileys the worst! :puke:

Yeah, i dont think radio dj's should express their opinion as much as they do about the songs and maybe shouldnt even get an input into the playlist.

Alphabet should deffo be A-listed though.

I don't think the DJs get a say in the playlist. At least I don't think they do because they all seem to hate Basshunter and Chris Moyles doesn't like H "two" O and he wanted Doug Walker to be playlisted this week.

Yeh i dont think its the dj's who decide the playlist. But you are right, jo whiley is terrible for trying to be one of the kids, everyone she sees live is "amazing"

The DJs don't get a say in the playlist (well the daytime DJs). It's the higher management and certain producers of the shows etc. that decide the playlist.

Jo Whiley is allowed a certain amount of freedom on her show though to play one or two tracks each show that don't fit on the playlist.

 Yeah but im sure that the DJ's get a say on what songs they play, but not the overrall playlist. Chris Moyles plays less indie i think.

And when Zane Lowe was around before 7pm he was meant to stick to the playlist... but i think he just played 1 song 10 times and called it a different name by a different band each time.

PS. Thats the 2nd time ive bashed indie today. Sorry if ive annoyed anyone but ive realised how annoying it can be, but i DO actually like some of it, it just needs to be a bit more experimental.

oh dear imagine:

Let me tell you, no I

I need a miracle

I need a miracle

It's more physical than what I need to feel from you

under a chavvy baseline and all fast a squeaky *shudders*. They wouldn't though because i don't think the melody would fit that, and they wouldn't re-record it. Would they?

well I dunno why the hell Radio 1 have playlisted Cascada, none of the dj's actually like them. I think a radio station should play the music they identify with and actually support, its then up to the listener to choose whether to listen or change the channel. I'm sure people who listen to Radio 1 and don't like Cascada would rather they weren't played, and i'm also sure Cascada fans don't want to listen to their songs constantly being bashed by the dj's everytime they get played, not to mention name calling.
