Yeah, I don't think I could be happy with myself if I sent something I didn't like just with the aim of doing well.

 

Then if it flopped it would feel even worse because you'd wonder what the hell was that all about? :blink:

 

It can be pretty easy though when looking through blogs.....to start thinking you like a song just because it's been so long before you found anything good. (like you're getting desperate) So it's nice when a really great song does pop up and you get reminded what a good song actually sounds like. :P

 

I actually found a song I'm really getting into...but it might have worn off me by the time confirmation comes around. :drama:

(I still remember your last entry from nearly a decade ago... looking back it didn't quite make my semi-final votes surprisingly but it was in the contest that I still think of as probably the highest quality one ever and I think it may have been one that grew on me more after the contest. Hope you may have better luck with this comeback, looks like an interesting one).

I've known about this song for a while now and it's one I often come back to, I also feel like it's a bit different from what Dalisska has usually sent to BJSC in the past. I'm really curious how BJSC will react to the song, especially with the semis this month being as large as they are.

Thanks, Mattias also mentioned to me that the response was positive.

It's definitely encouraging to hear that since I wasn't sure how BJSC would respond to the song.

This reminds me of Rufus Wainwright a bit, it's very striking in Semi 1 so sure it will Q.
