May 11, 200818 yr 10 (from 46) Kylie Minogue - In My Arms [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/CDR6756.JPG Chart Run: 69-57-46-10 [4 wks] Release date: 5-5-2008 Availability: despatched within 7 days Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: CDR6756 Label: PARLOPHONE Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue started out as an actress, working on the TV show NEIGHBOURS, whose UK popularity eventuated the young singer taking up with megapop production team Stock, Aitken & Waterman (who also made Rick Astley a success). With that titanic trio behind her, Kylie became the queen of the British pop charts, scoring hit after hit. Like Sheena Easton, she eventually changed her image from girl-next-door to sex-kitten and shortly thereafter became the paramour of INXS vocalist Michael Hutchence. Though Kylie reigned supreme in the UK, establishing a Madonna-like presence on records and in films, she never took off in America until her 2002 album FEVER finally made her a US dance-pop diva. In Spring 2005, whilst touring her Greatest Hits, Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer. After successfully battling the disease the world tour resumed 18 months later in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia to a rapturous reception. - HMV Video here: RE8EAqneUbM track listing 1. In My Arms 2. Can't Get You Out Of My Head [Greg Kurstin remix] Where will In My Arms chart? Well, Kylie barely keeps her sting of top 10 song going with this tune which should have been released first instead of "2 Hearts"
May 11, 200818 yr ya next week she cud fall but she may hold up better than we think, kylie can always surprise just like she did today Her downloads are much too minimal, I think she'll probably fall about 15 places unless her downloads magically pick up.
May 11, 200818 yr also,in my arms has got no promo from kylie plus its radio play hasnt been as good as wow(which is the best X single so far) so it has heavily relied on kylie's liyal fanbase who yet agan havent let her down Quite so. On a physical singles chart, she outsold Madonna, Wiley and Sam Sparro
