May 17, 200817 yr Author Geri is utterly amazing  The movie where that song comes from is amazing. :P That cover version by all means is horrid even if I did like the video. Bless Geri. The Spice Girl with the most #1 solo hits yet earns more bad press than Ms. Skeletor herself.

May 17, 200817 yr I also want 2001 back. If u look at the year end top 40, I dare you to find a track you don't like. I can't! (well maybe some Westlife lol!)
May 17, 200817 yr DREADFUL top 2. Pop music in 2001 was generally in a poor state. The year when reality TV winners began their unwanted dominance aswell.
May 17, 200817 yr That Geri Halliwell cover was HIDEOUS! Easily the worst thing she ever did. :puke: That Fragma track was my favourite of theirs however.
May 18, 200817 yr She was definately the best  Mi Chico Latino is amazing  She looked absolutely incredible in that video! :)
May 18, 200817 yr DREADFUL top 2. Pop music in 2001 was generally in a poor state. The year when reality TV winners began their unwanted dominance aswell. While I agree with the second comment about the state of pop in 2001, I do not agree that Don't Stop Movin' could be included in this generalisation. For me, its one of THE defining pop songs of the decade and has easily stood the test of time, which is more than could be said for Geri's dire cover...

May 19, 200817 yr PARDON! I hope you aren't suggesting the talented (at having success with no conventional talent at all) Geri has no fan base - IN CASE YOU FORGET she gave up POP music on purpose, just recently, despite millions of her fans crys worldwide to start her career as a fiction novel writer as in demand as JK Rowling i'll have you know!!!!!!!!!! :o The Spice Girl with the most #1 solo hits yet earns more bad press than Ms. Skeletor herself. Yes how anyone should get more bad press than that hopelessly shallow, fame obsessed, oxygen waster is shocking - its just Ms Twatham is a superior liar and recognizes superior PR were as Geri's embarrassing antics and delusion from her desperation of fame are at least honest.
May 19, 200817 yr UK Top 75 Singles Week Ending 19 May 2001 06 - 68 - 69 - Modjo - CHILLIN' 1 - NEW - 70 - Demon Vs Heartbreaker - YOU ARE MY HIGH 2 fantastic club/dance tracks
May 19, 200817 yr Absolutely horrible - I can count 3 songs out of the top 75 I would listen to and only Gorillaz and Avalanches that I actually own in any format. It's no wonder pop music died a death with that top 2.
May 19, 200817 yr If I remember, the day after this chart was released, she appeared in a Labour party political broadcast for the 2001 General Election. The following week, she was knocked off No1 and would never be seen in the Top Five after it left. I wonder if those two facts are connected.
