Its been a huge hit in every country its been released, so I guess it was bound to be a hit

No idea really. They might be using it as a hype single, and then releasing something to radio and stuff later towards the end of the year for when his album is due out. Who knows haha.

It will probably be like Keane 'Spiralling' and Coldplay 'Violet Hill'

It's not really a M.I.A. song actually. It just samples a line she says in 'Paper Planes'. Think of the Taio Cruz song, "She's Like A Star" but instead of "like a star" being repeated a lot in the background it's "no one on the corner has swagger like us" and instead of Taio Cruz it has Jay-Z, T.I., Lil Wayne and Kanye West all doing their own raps over it. It's basically like a recipe for success in the USA which is probably why it debuted at #5 over there. :lol: I don't mind it, but I can imagine it being a potential hate chart #1 on Buzzjack as it's basically 5 and a half minutes of rapping and a repetitive sample.

I will buy the sugababes album as it sounds quite good.

 

But i cannot go anywhere near 'Girls' sorry, its really annoying me now.
