Take That RTW at number 34? That guy murdering it on X-Factor last night must have made people want to wash their ears out with the real one!

Its really funny how any song on xfactor seems to pop onto itunes on sunday

They didn't actually play it though (I mean not the way they played Madonna's Vogue or some of the others). It was the way this guy sang - he was so passionate but really cr/\p! They only let him get a couple of bars out before they stopped him. I've seen RTW go up 20 places or so at time - but it was in the late 80's last night! They've also got the soundtrack version inside the top 120 now. Just another month and a half it will have spent a year in the top 75!

Maybe this guy really did change the world with that performance

It had to be seen to be believed. Have these people no real friends? Surely they must have one that would say 'don't do it mate ... don't humiliate yourself in front of millions'.

^^ lol you'd think wouldnt you.

The thing is though, i think a lot of people that see the judges have to go through someone else first (who obviously pick the good and really rubbish) but i think a lot of the rubbish ones think they've been put through coz they are amazing. Its just funny.

Compare to New Kids On The Block murdering Queen's We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions on the Al Murray show it was not that bad!

New Kids On The Block - We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions

As for Rule The World - it sounded like an "instant classic" when it was first released, and that is exactly what it has become by the fact it is hanging around Chasing Cars style long after Bleeding Love dropped off the iTunes chart.

Now that was one part of the Al Murray show that we did laugh at! To be honest though ... we were only half-watching as we were having a conversation about red wine at the time ... so I didn't even know it was NKOTB!

Nope it seems to be falling now so i didn't wanna include it in the update because there were too many songs in the updates lol

Yeah i agree i don't know why everyone is bothered about POM, even Britney fans because its rising only a tiny little bit and its an old song now, its been successful already.

OMG, that is even much worse than the Take That version of Pink Floyd!

I suppose Take That could have used the excuse 'we were young, we didn't know what we were doing, we needed the money' as an exuse ... but these are grown men now - didn't they have some advice before doing this? Why didn't they just sing their own new song?

Anyway ... we are digressing here a little!

I'm pretty sure that everyone who goes on that awful show has to do a Queen cover as well as their own
Queen are The Pub Landlord's favourite band. Whoever the musical guest is always performs one of their own and then a Queen song at the end.
