Leon will debut the single on the first live studio show of this year’s X Factor on Saturday October 11th. Fans will then be able to download the single at midnight shortly after his performance - put the date in your diaries now!

Clearly it will go straight to Number 1 - Predictions for the first week sale?!

70-80k -_- the week after they will fall to about 35-40k though :drama: - I do really wish he would seriously f*** OFF!

It's rubbish! Doesn't deserve to sell 5 copies at the least..

About 3,400,510

But even if that many people did buy it ... it would just illustrate that 3,400,51 people must have sh*t for brains.

Just in a grumpy mood this morning.

That last word is totally uncalled for. Even if you dislike a singer why wish them dead?

Talentless moron cant even use his own 'talents' to sell a record but has to rely on the gullibility of teenage girls to buy his records after a Saturday performance, it makes me so angry especially as there were so many more talented singers in last years show...

Probably number 1 but then a massive drop out the charts probs about 60k, nothing as big as Leona's comeback in 2007

50,000 i reckon. I can't see it doing a Leona and selling 200,000 in one week

it 100% wont ruffle any leona records, i think its fair to see many of us didnt see bleeding love being as huge as it was, but that said, When You Believe wasn't really a masssive hit, and fell quickly in the new year. Therefore, based on Shaynes sales of No Promises and Leonas for Bleeding Love, i think it will be like this:

WEEK 1... 50,000 #1

WEEK 2... 22,000 #5

WEEK 3... 10,000 #12

I think his album will have a similar run.

I love the song :( I hope it does well

Simon you've made me feel dead guilty now about this part of my post ... it would just illustrate that 3,400,510 people must have sh*t for brains.

Seriously - it ain't that bad, certainly it is no worse than the Boyzone single, but it definitely doesn't deserve to go to number 1. I hope when it does it disappears quite quickly afterwards!

It's a good song stop being so harsh just because he's not a pop diva or the next big indie band

It doesn't deserve #1 - rubbish song from a rubbish singer :puke2:

Last time I-Tunes crashed... I can see him selling 200k+... I mean look at Faith Hill she's gonna go top 10 after he song was played and no appearance.

Leon can easily do 200k+

he is appearing on the best and most powerful promo spot, especially for an x factor winner cause they are reaching that crucial reality tv audience that followed their "journey" and bought them the first time around. so it doesn't matter what he sings....sheep will buy. with 10 million viewers watching he just needs less than 1% watching to download to sell 100k. the song is totally bland middle of the road, safe, forgettable formula c**p. i don't like it
i acutally like the leon single. it has taken me a few listens to acutally get into it, but it has eventually grew on me! hope it does well for him.
I hate the song, I hope Snow Patrol beat him to #1

Indeed! If an unknown singer can get a Faith Hill song after singing it for 2 minutes on the X-Factor into the Top 10 then I have no doubt that Leon will easily reach 90-100k and quite possibly a lot more!

But then When You Believe was played in full on last weeks X Factor and has had no impact in the charts. It doesn't all work out that way
