Lydmor finished #6 in BJSC 129 :cheer:

 

this is out third Top 10 this year and sixth Top 20 (Gigi D'Agostino #20, Hot Since 82 #15, SICKOTOY x INNA #14, Chilli/Carrapicho #7, Lydmor #6 and Adiemus #5) :o

 

I was curious to see if this is actually the most successful year for us but apparently in BJSC 11 through 20 I got seven Top 20 placements, but back then contests we're much smaller so I am not sure if that is right comparison so we'll just celebrate this year as one of the most successful year :cheer:

Cam - The Otherside

 

 

(Writers Camaron Ochs, Hillary Lindsey, Tim Bergling aka Avicii, Tyler Johnson. Producers Jeff Bhasker, Douglas Showalter, Tyler Johnson)

 

This song came to be during a writing session for the late Avicii’s album, his team giving their blessing for it to instead be included on Cam’s. The track has a Celtic vibe to it, Cam turning the tables on an ex who wants her back having hurt her in the past. I see this song as about learning to see things from another person’s point of view, and not doing things to others that you wouldn’t want them to do to you.

 

Favorite line “ I know that I’m cruel but I learned that from you” .

It's a very good song. The tune in the drop really reminds me of this 80s song although it's not exactly the same.

Queen Cam finished 2nd for the second time (BJSC 120 for Dobago with Diane).

Our second 2nd position ever after Kim-Lian.

Also this is only second time in our history books to finish Top 10 two contests in a row (BJSC 030 - 02 - Kim-Lian and Future Presidents - How I Like It and BJSC 031 - 03 - Neon Hitch - Get Over U)

 

So big success for us in 2021 :cheer:

 

And as far as BJSC 133, we are almost 100% sure what we're going for. It's only down to two tracks, both being electro pop/dance.

Surprised you haven't had consecutive top 10s more often! (that was a pretty elusive achievement for me for a long time as well but it has happened a few times in the last few years, I'm also still yet to ever get 3 in a row though).
