The song was a hit in mainland Europe, but for some reasons didn't really took off in UK, and peaked only #48.Personally what makes this song so special for me is the history behind the story of Mary, Queen of Scots when she returned to Scotland and got imprisoned by Queen Elizabeth. She was always hoping one day she would be released from prison, and she would be able to escape to France, but that never happened. You all know the rest of history what happened to her after being imprisoned for 18 years.
