October 9, 200818 yr Hope Snow Patrol goes top 5 next week, but I can't see it happening with single sales dwindling each week. It's bad enough trying to find singles lately. Its better buying them online these days than shopping around. But (I know iTunes only does about 60% of the chart or whatever) it's still climbing quite nicely and catching Kaisers up on Downloads so I think they will get to about number 6 or 7 with their Physical ^_^

October 9, 200818 yr I must admit Katy Perry's album is a bit of a flop down 6 places from last sunday's position, one hit wonder with I Kissed A Girl Hardly! 'Hot 'n' Cold' is going to be a huge hit, and it already is in the US. Come on J-Hud, get one place higher for Sunday. :o

'Hot 'n' Cold' is going to be a huge hit, and it already is in the US. Hardly a one hit wonder! Well she is in the sense that she's only had time to release one hit so far, but hot n cold is already selling well off of album cherry picking while IKAG is still huge, so maybe we should wait till HnC's released before thinking about branding her a one hit wonder. Often new bands will do more than one single before releasing an album as its difficult for people to know if its worth the investment until they've heard more of their material, so i don't think her album has done too bad considering this so far. I get the impression the record company expected more though, as i think it didn't chart as high first week in America as they'd hoped either. Compare this to someone like the script (who didn't even get a singles no1) and their album- go figure!
