Horrible. Top 15 cuz It's Beyonce... really dissapointed.

The lyrics are...shocking? Like REALLY bad. Trite doesn't go far enough to describe them in all honesty...The melody and backing is incredibly similar to 'Big Girls Don't Cry', unsurprising given the two songs have the same producer.

 

It's a hideous song with nil artistic value or credit and yet another example of hollow cookie-cut big budget cold Pop; something Beyoncé has, and always will EXCEL at. She's so stubbornly remains on the outside of her songs looking in. No bonafide musical superstar does that...

rubbish both songs actually (IIWAB and Single ladies) but I doubut it will flop 'cause it's Beyoncè...she will get a lot of support anyway...

I ADORE If I Were A Boy.

 

Single Ladies however is just trash of the highest order. NO BEYONCE. JUST NO.

Surely she is just singing a Pink/Kelly Clarkson/ any other tedious American female singer..

Lots of negative comments on here i won't be ashamed to download it as i don't buy cd's much anymore because they stopped selling Physicals.

Single Ladies is Horrific! :puke: Should not even be considered for a B-Side IMO!

Reminds me very much of Rihanna's Take A Bow with the melody and beat of the song.

 

Given that, it will probably hang around for ages, although will probably have to settle for a #2 peak as its out the same week as Leona.

Sounds like a hit to me! I'd say top3 and a very long chart run.

FFS too many R&B ballads this year! Forever, No Air, Take A Bow and now this! I hate this new direction that LOADS of artists are taking, in fact most of the R&B artists are coming back with ballads <_< . I loved the 2006 era but i'm really going off all types of urban music. :( Fortunately it changes quite a lot each year so it should be back to normal soon :D :P
