Hmm with Pink having sold at least 14k on the first day I'm doubting whether Geraldine will have the momentum to overtake her on Sunday :(

 

Her sales on iTunes are slowing down and novelty singles like this always fizzle out after the first few days. I just hope she stays ahead of Leon. That's all that matters!!

I'm all for d/l s only if the marketing considers the sales sensibly. But I think Jordin was hard done by, ever since her album was released (that cover was so uninspiring ! like the XF's winner, TBH). Even the song choices weren't perfect - she only got No Air because she is a smart cookie for her young age.

 

Somehow I feel like Jive treats her as a second class singer because of Chris B. :o

Well Amarillo was a novelty song under Peter Kay's brand and that didn't lose momentum in a few days. I think Pink will be about 1000 ahead by Sunday and then Geraldine will be #1 next week. It's quite amazing that the song is already #2 considering it was only heard 4 DAYS ago!

I have to say I'm pretty amazed that Pink is still number 1. Geraldine on 19k on Thursday already, Pink must have damn good sales still. I'm wondering if she can hold on 'til Sunday (I'm not really sure though tbh).
