Because people just ASSUME things. I bought it coz I actually like the song and I like '2 Up 2 Downs' version too! I love 2 Up 2 Down's version (or as Geraldine calls them 2 Up 2 Faced). If the radio stations would start playing this version ... it really would stand a chance at number 1. As it is I'm glad it'll beat Leon. And you're right NOWHERE did it say it was for charity. Norma
October 17, 200817 yr leon isn't an artist, an artist is someone that writes and produces their own material (they are creating their "art"). he is simply a singer....reality tv act not good enough to get a record deal on his own. and it seems his camp (ie simon cowell) are getting bitter and devious by trying to insinuate peter kaye is misleading the public. not only that but they are trying to generate sales based on terrority by wanting scotland to buy it, just cause he is scottish. instead of buying it cause they like it which is how it should be. :lol: at leon having the best promo spot and record company money behind him being beaten by a parody, a novelty track, a p*** take of reality tv acts watched by far less viewers than the x-factor.

For the record Leon has co-written the singles b-side and has actually been quoting in the press as liking Peter Kay not the other way around. these are great singers and performers, respected for their talents for their distinctive voices. even if leon didn't come from reality tv. based on his voice and performances....he doesn't have a distinctive voice, more of a michael buble clone. an average singer at best and his performance on x-factor was awkward. he doesn't have the stage presence of elvis, the charm of sinatra or the emotive singing of billy holliday.
