Dilemma time, if Rachel and Ruth do end up bottom 2 which act will Dannii vote off, that's going to be a toughie, I just hope she chooses Rachel, as I'm getting sick of her sob stories, and hopefully Dannii feels the same.

Not the best week really was it? There weren't ANY outstanding performances tonight, despite the ravings over Alexandra.

 

RANKING

 

01. Alexandra - the best but that's not saying much tonight. Any other week, and that would have just been "alright". The performance seemed to lack the power that the song really requires.

02. JLS - acceptable, but as with everybody else tonight, nowhere near their best. Tha backing singers need to up their voices a little because they fade into the backgroud TOO much.

03. Ruth - still the most passionate performer by far, but her voice is shaky.

04. Daniel - Not bad, not great. But this week, even that should be more than enough.

05. Eoghan - maybe it's just because I prefer Anytime You Need A Friend to most of Mariah's tracks, but I didn't find this as bad as he has been. Nevertheless the song didn't suit him, as with Alexandra, this song needs a really powerful vocal to work, and Eoghan is just not capable of that.

06. Laura - Brian Friedman made a BIG balls-up with that, she should have stayed seated for the entire performance at the piano (I'm assuming it would have been him who advised her to stand at the end). Whether she was genuinely playing to begin with I don't know, but the piano carrying on even after she stood up has NOT made it look very good at all. I wish one of the judges had had the balls to challenge it. Also her voice just didn't sound right on the song.

07. Rachel - just out of tune.

 

 

Also, Mariah's new song is DULL, and Louis has been an utter plonker tonight.

Its amazing that out of 1000s of people that auditioned for X factor that the singing is so bad with some of these finalists

Cheryl showed her nasty side with Louis again. :lol: That girl is not to be crossed.

 

Ruth had the best performance as per, so I voted her. She'll probably suffer the early-performer's-curse though. :(

in relationj to martins comments if 2 of dannii;s acts end up bottom 2 and she has the casting vote id say she will put it to deadlock rather than picking someone

 

i really do enjoy the xtra factor this year and funnily i completly agree with what jason donovan said about rachel its a competition and the best go through and i assume he was hinting at we dont need her sob stories and attitudes etc which i agree with

I'm sure she does, but if it does come down to Rachel against either Ruth or Daniel, I can't see Dannii doing anything over than putting it to deadlock.

Rachel has been the worst performer tonight. Ruth on the other hand has been the most consistent performer in Dannii's category, and Daniel wasn't atrocious tonight. But Dannii voting against Rachel tonight would just leave her completely open to being portrayed as vindictive and trying to take "revenge" for their issues this week.

 

In all honesty, although Dannii's three acts are the most likely candidates for bottom 2 action, I have a feeling JLS may not be safe either. I don't think they're as widely supported in the public as the girls or Eoghan, and groups never have much luck on the X Factor anyway.
