Diana - 'Gimme More'

 

Alot of people seem to think she will be doing this arrangement of it :o I hope not, coz It's my 2nd fave Britney song and I don't like this Sia version at all. I hope if Diana does perform this song, she keeps it the same beat and just sings it coz I think her voice suits it anyway. (Hence why I made it a choice)

 

No its not alternate, the reason they did 3 in the final because of the new category, the first 3 series only had 3 judges and 3 groups.

 

The final is on the 13th Dec, single to be released 15th Dec

 

I don't think they were suggesting it's alternate on purpose, that's just the way it's turned out so far. For some reason despite only three categories, Andy, Shayne and Journey South all made the final in series 2...

 

Shoat - as for Slave 4 U, I want to see her do a kickass PERFORMANCE (which I believe S4U offers), and a top vocal too which is why I chose Unbreak My Heart. I believe her USP is that she is a total all rounder which none of the others really can offer and I want her to play to that strength. I don't think any Britney song is particularly vocally challenging tbh!

Diana was awful. Two bad performances in a row, one no-show - she should be out. She really is one of the weakest performers they've ever had on x factor. She doesn't move much, is barely in tune, awful tone - gives the same perfromace every week. It was actually quite funny to watch.

 

If she was a cute 17 year old male there would be complaints that she is only there for her looks and the teenage vote.

 

And Simon Cowell says he's going to sign her anyway, so why bother voting.

Ok i have to admit Ruth did very well last night.

 

Rachel shouldn't have gone after that last performance

 

JLS were awful, Diana was good not great but i like her and her voice :wub:

 

Alexandra nailed it great last night and Eoghan was average.

 

So it was a good show

 

Plus SD & Rydian were both :wub:

Take That were amazing too :D

Correct bottom 2 last night. Eoghan was bad enough to be there last night also.

 

Although I wasn't a Rachel fan by any means. She had the best sing off.

Rhydian was wonderful last night. And it's come to my attention he has a duet with Idina Minzel on his album. Wonderful. I'm very pleased with the results last night, and the two I wanted to go were in the bottom two. Next week Euoghan or JLS should go tbh.

Why replace Cheryl though - she has done a really good job. I think Dannii has done well too - although she has been overshadowed by Cheryl.

He might, at a push get Ronan to do it - but I doubt Gary Barlow would go for it. And to be honest ... I'd be very disappointed if he did!

I think there will be new judge next year. Who he/she will replace though, is anyones guess. After last night i dont see both Louis and Dannii coming, one of them will walk really. Cheryl is also "reported" to be unsure if she wants to return, she's been so popular though, there's no way Simon would actually want her out.

Weird show last night. I don't get all the criticism for Eoughan (or whatever he's called). I thought last night he was pretty good. Started off pretty shaky, but as the song went on he hit some really good notes - especially towards the end. Patience suited Diana really well. She's still not back to her best, but it was a good performance, and it is a VERY hard song to sing. JLS were pretty poor, but I loved their version of Beautiful Girls/Suicide Girls.

 

The right act definitely went last night. Ofc Rachel is better vocally, but as it was rightly said, JLS have a lot more to offer to the show than Rachel. I thought JLS would ace Take That week, but I guess they didn't...

 

Also next week Britney and American theme songs. No idea what any of them should, but i'd love Diana to do Nine Inch Nails/Johnny Cash - Hurt and JLS to take on a song by N*Sync, maybe Girlfriend? Just depends what is meant by American Hits.

Why would they want Lily Allen? She's had ONE reasonably successful album, and has only really been going for a couple of years. She's hardly an expert, even less so than Dannii and Cheryl.

Just catching up now on ITV2.

 

Ruth was amazing as always (best of the night!). Surprisingly, everyone was pretty good. But could Diana start sounding more like a seal? And I feel pretty sorry for Dannii at the moment, with everyone and the press against her.

 

Oh and Same Difference. What a stupid song. :lol: Yet the pop production is pretty neat. :o And with Rhydian, don't rate the track much (too cliché) but his voice is fantastic!

In the final;

 

JLS - Only one of them can sing. That lanky one who looks like a rooster can't carry a note in tune. I'd love to of seen them go, just to f*** of that t*** Louis.

 

Rachel - Her best performance. Shame, but she wouldn't of lasted another week.
