I'm pleased Laura went. She was hideously over-rated imo (just look at the over-reactions by some people here for example). She was bland, had a horrible image and having a relationship with an Executive on the show was never going to help her was it?

 

She sounded just like Belinda of BB fame when she sang 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. I was like "Que?". Such putrid, whiney vocals. She's more suited to jazzy music in all honesty.

And it is not about looks, Leona had a horrible image, face like a horse, charisma of a frozen cod, totally wooden in her stage presence but she has one of the best female voices ever to come out of this country, image is only for shallow people, it is TALENT that matters and Leona has that in buckets

Eoghan Quigg Also compare him to Diana. There's less than A YEAR'S DIFFERENCE in age between them. One comes across as a total child and the other an adult. Bizarre tbf.

Yes, but considering the fuss that was being made over Eoghan and Austin you'd have expected them to play larger roles in it. Im rather suprised Girlband have so much to sing, i wonder had Bad Lashes stayed longer would they have larger roles.

Doctors have apparently told Diana Vickers that she can sing again after she missed last week's X Factor show due to a throat infection.

 

A diagnosis of laryngitis meant the student also lost out on the chance to work with Mariah Carey in the run up to last Saturday's live performance. According to The Mirror, the 17-year-old has now been given the all clear to get back to work.

 

A show source said: "Diana is desperate to sing and can't wait to get into the studio again. Having to sit out last weekend was painful for her and now she just wants to get back on track.

 

"She has to catch up with the others and win over the viewers to show that the judges were right to allow her to take a week off. But at the same time she needs to take it easy to begin with so she doesn't strain her vocal chords."

Thats fantastic to know, really glad she didnt have to drop out competly. Maybe Eoghan wont be guaranteed a win afterall.

If he is so mature looking for his age then why was he one of the oldest auditionees for BBC1's I'd Do Anything's Olivier (for those not in the know the character in the Charles Dickens novel is 9 years old), where he failed to make the Final 16 for the TV knockout stages, presumably because his inability to hold a tune in a bucket every week.

 

I guess this is further evidence that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is a better judge than Simon Cowell and co.
