Take That's new album is sooo Overrated in my opinion..

Yes they are a great band but I honestly think this isn't their best album :o

Don't kill me though, It's just my opinion!

Also, That's soo harsh about Britney..My Pre-order from amazon arrived today :D

I love Amnesia

Well after 3 listens I don't think it's as good as Beautiful World.

Well, if Asda cant get hold of Britney then TT should be outselling her!

Britney's album is fantastic, her second best album, beaten by In The Zone!

I just think Take That know they have a battle against Britney so hats off to them they are doing it all. But I think a US number 1 for Britney is far more important at the moment

Take That will outsell Duffy though and be the biggest seller of the year eventhough it's not that great. The adverts on TV for the show on ITV show circus acts because the album title but the album is nothing like a circus. Whereas Britney's does have that feel to it with big performances and dancing so she deserves the title of the album more than TT

Britney tickets on sale Friday!!!!!!

My local Asda had plenty of copies of both Britney's and Take That's new albums today ;)

so britney only did 1.5k :(

That's very worrying considering that the CD wasn't in stock in many retailers aswell.

Really?! I went to HMV, Zavvi, Tesco and Asda today and all had plenty of Britney...

Well my local Asda had neither by 5pm today (neither had Swindon's Woolworths or Zavvi, which explains why Swindon's HMV branch was selling both CDs at a near rip off £10.99 today - VAT deduction). They reckon stocks will arrive to the outpost that is Swindon overnight.

I guess it just depends on where you live... Coz some places have been affected (Not JUST Britney's TT's too)

The title from TT album comes from the retro feeling of the album together with the old meaning of the circus, the place where many generation were entertained. It has to do more with they love for tours and entertain. They have also a fair part of happy songs, but i assume ot apeals to a more adult part of the listeners, who can like the spirit of "the-good-old-day-of-entertaining!"

And I feel the discussion about who diserve the title is a little bit stupid. Nobody deserve more or less. It is only a word and they interpret it different. More important is the music not the title  . It is not like they were the only two acts in the world who choose this title anyway, as there are at least two other very known albums with this title  .

I totally see what your saying! I listened to the clips on iTunes of TT's new album, and it was TOO mature for me :heehee:
I can not wait to see the midweeks tomorrow and hopefully sales info. There was only 2 copies left in my local Asda when i went back home from work at 5.30pm, i can't help but get my hopes up that this is gonna be a massive seller
I think the first week sale will suprise everybody by being so huge - Also Tesco are dropping the price of the CD to match Asda which will help sales even more  I think next week sales will be high too as the Take That special airs on ITV on Sunday night

Ok, i'm gonna say it, when i saw it sold out but 2 in my local Asda, i just thought "could this sell a million in a week?" especially as the price is not far off what you would pay for an X Factor single.

But i know that is probably being unrealistic

What about The Eagles, Sheryl Crow, Sam Sparrow, etc. :D

The digital stores are starting to battle it out on price now - 7Digital are selling the album for £5 and Tesco Digital are selling it for £5.97

Poppy (do you mind if I call you that? I don't know your name) don't forget Take That are on GMTV on Friday 12th December too!

Speaking of copies - I went to Asda in Wigan tonight (about 7.30) and there were about a dozen copies of Take That's The Circus left on the shelf and a couple of dozen or so or more of Britter's there too - so if Wigan can be well-stocked I think its a disgrace that bigger towns and even cities are 'stockless'.
