December 3, 200817 yr Those mids are much better! :) Spirit sticking in the top 5 too despite Run being available now. Flop for Will Young ouch. Edited December 3, 200817 yr by Ethereal
December 3, 200817 yr those midweeks are much better and i expected the take that single to drop more with the album doing so well
December 3, 200817 yr Author Yesterdays chart was really a wake up call just imagine if iTunes pulled out to contributing downloads to the singles chart, it would leave a big gaping hole, I never knew how big iTunes is. If iTunes was buggered for a week, it would certainly put a new spin on things.

Like I said yesterday I knew that Itunes has a big impact on the chart, but when you see what the charts like without Itunes it just proves how much of an impact it actually has! I am surprised actually how the number 1 would completely change if it wasn't for Itunes and By a long margin! :D

From the iTunes-less figures we had yesterday, and compared with last week's figures (with projected drop-offs etc subtracted from them) it looks like iTunes accounts for 70-80% of the market. And even (slightly) more of the digital market. :o

The following week, iTunes is back on track, and the chart would look completely  personally I would love to see it happening, just to see how fast tracks fall in just one week.
December 3, 200817 yr I have a sneaky feeling Amazon may start to become one of the leaders in MP3 downloads! I can't believe there doing Brand New albums for Just £3! also With Girls Aloud at £3 they could be climbing soon if it stays at £3. Anyone else think Amazon could account for a large amount of downloads, probably not as much as Itunes but I reckon they could reach 20-25% of downloads if not more... December 3, 200817 yr I think its ridiculous that I-Tunes have such control over the UK charts... So I'm up for any other company getting in there and removing Apples monopoly. Big up the smaller sites and fxxk the forcefeeding from the multinational ones
December 3, 200817 yr Great to see JM in the Top 40 on downloads only. Its not released until Monday as a physical is it? Do you have an exactish poisition please Martin?

Nah, people would just use other download sites. As iTunes wasn't broken everyone still used it on Sunday and Monday.

December 3, 200817 yr 11+11+10+1=???? :P or 100-67=??? or.... I think I stop there :D Yes, I think you should  Very pleased with that for this week. Thanks. Loving this song more every time I hear it. In fact I bought the album last week and its a very good one. I really don't understand why James hasn't been promoting it more. Apart from Paul O'Grady, I've hardly seen him do anything  Edited December 3, 200817 yr by val4jadan

People are cherry picking the album track aswell on iTunes which gets added onto the normal sales... Fantastic to see Britney Top 40 With 2 songs :o Video Premieres for 'Circus' on Friday So expecting it to climb a little from that position! And Womanizer heading for a new peak :w00t: Fantastic to see her number 3 in the albums too, I was slightly worried after everything that happened with the stock and everything :w00t: Any more Script info please Martin :w00t: Edited December 3, 200817 yr by Jonjo Deluxe Ed.
