Well-deserved for Little Boots, I’m hoping for big things for her in 2009. :D

Good to see VV Brown, Lady GaGa and Kid Cudi top10.

Rather dismayed Frankmusik hasn’t even made the top10 :(; Vincent Frank is the future of music.

Great for Little Boots. But, what the heck, no Frankmusik in the whole Top 10!

Stuck On Repeat is

Stupid list, Lady GaGa is obviosly going to be the most successful.

Lady Gaga - what the fxck is she doing on this list - utter $h!te - she's already a commercial whore

As long as that foul Meddle song doesn't do well, I'm happy for her ^_^
Great for Little Boots - fantastic that Empire Of The Sun is top 5 too :yahoo:

:manson: That's WHY she's so low! The majority of the people who nominated this list realised that she was already bound to be successful as she had stormed every country BUT the United Kingdom at the point this list was nominated - only the lazy contributers nominated her...the intention of this list is to find new underground talent - Lady GaGa has massive money and power behind her!

Woah Take one of these...

I am annoyed Frankmusik hasn't made the Top 10 :snif: Over Kid Cudi, who is probably only going to be a One Hit Wonder <_<

*Goes to take one of those Pills* :(

I agree with the already large amount of MANSONS already posted in relatement to this statement. Such a stupid thing to post. :|

No suprise to see Little Boots at the top since Florence and White Lies were placed at #2 and #3. Can't really argue with the rest of the Top 10 either, a little bit suprised FrankMusik isn't in the Top 10, but I think pretty much ALL of the acts in the Top 10 this year will have success to some degree at least.

Really happy about Little Boots, White Lies, Empire of the Sun and Kid Cudi's positions

I suspect Frankmusik's obmission from the Top 10 has a lot to do with his song (3 Little Words) being a near theft of Howard Jones 1986 US Top Ten hit U No I  U.

He sure as hell lost a lot of good will from us thirty-somethings for that, and more so with music critics. It is one thing ripping off the sound of the (Pre Live Aid/SAW) 1980s but another to rip off the songs of the era.

I'm delighted Little Boots won as she appears to have that something original & special about her material (so no wonder she failed an audition for Pop Idol 2 ). Likewise very pleased with how high White Lies & Empire Of The Sun finished.

And??? Why should that not make him Top 10? They surely can't judge them on just the one song. :manson: That would be a bit crap really. They should base them on most things they have done to date, or even just base them on the songs they have on their Myspace or something... Not just one song!

I just YouTube'd that song... it sounds almost nothing like Three Little Words.
