more funny is when I hear BJSC entries at work

 

yesterday I heard Santogold's Say Aha and I almost turned to the person next to me and said 'oh BaNG sent this to BJSC' :lol:

i love hearing songs in that situation.

 

It's like "i love this song, it got my 10 in, erm never mind....... so, the weather"

 

Oh dear :lol: espescially at the first one. Its quite sad when you think about the internet in real life.

 

I'm one to talk though. Just last night when i was thinking about my lack of a good xmas #1 on my chart :lol:

Oh god, I actually do this all the time :( I can't listen to new music without thinking how it would fare in the BJSC :rofl: I do the same with former entries too, but I don't tell the person next to me :kink: I nearly had a fit when I heard Ladyhawke - Paris Is Burning, Little Jackie - The World Should Revolve Around Me, Alphabeat - Boyfriend and The 411 - Dumb all one after another on the radio a few weeks ago :rofl:

it's like when I heard Santogold, Sara Bareilles, MIA and Beverley Knight on the radio one after the other a couple of months back...it was a Quotosibb marathon! and then they played Jojo :(

 

this was Asda FM by the way :heehee:

 

and obviously it wasn't Fairytale or Black Butta :P

I do this all the time, i hear a song i havent heard in a while and think BJSC? Recent example would be Basement Jaxx - Good Luck, when it come on the TV that was my first thought.

Good Luck would actually be a good BJSC entry, I think it would appeal to the pop/dance and alternative voters alike :o

I remember hearing "Boyfriend" by Alphabeat in my local supermarket and I was so shocked, not only cause it was entered in the contest but because the supermarket rarely has any new music. :P

 

But in general I don't think I link bjsc and real life too much :P

 

Well I remember watching a music channel and about 5 bjsc songs came on in a row, I was really surprized. :o

Hmmm...I know that covers of songs already entered aren't allowed. Samples on the other hand, to my knowledge, are :o

 

We REALLY need a definitive rule book :lol:

Bohemian Rhapsody would quite probably flop, even in a cheap contest...it doesn't strike me as the sort of thing most of Buzzjack would like :lol:
