Thanks M+Ms :)

Before you ask Yanto30, Rhydian's still at 5+8, and we have no sales data yet :)

Off for a break, back at twelve, Mart!n's not about today, will answer all questions when back.

Thanks BYM+M's :)

Is it right Will's album has climbed a place to #32? Doing well seeing as he's receiving little airplay. :D

Ok whenever anyone can...

Could i have a Britney Singles and Album update please?

Thanks

He already lowered himself to X Factor :P

I was talking about this to a friend who worked in record shop in the 80s, and he told me it was a lot like this back then. Most shops had huge amounts of back catalogue records available, and so when an old song had new exposure, it was very common for it to climb back into the charts. I don't see what's so different, really.

It's all good for the person who wrote it though - he must be rubbing his hands in glee

Quick question. How many copies did Leona sell in the first week?

Leona at 3? We're losing points at the prediction game...

Good to see Geraldine in the Top 5 - That is the 4th Top 5 hit Peter Kay has been involved in now right?!

Also can anyone please tell me the positions of The Saturdays single and album in yesterdays update?! Thanks :D

Looked in a few shops on my way to work today and everywhere is stocking Alexandra's single

did brits album go 4 - 14 - 20? the x factor did wonders for britney, if she didnt perform on it the single would be about 20 i think cos it did quite well off back off x factor. i also reckon the album wouldnt have gone top 5. shame we'll never know. im trying to work out if 4 - 14 - 20 is any good, well its not awful is it, by sunday it will prob have fallen to 21 or 22.

im also interested in how much leonas a moment like this sold in its first week, because x factor has gotten bigger since then hasnt it?

thans for the mids

Yes it has, but the music industry has gotten smaller since then.

Overall yes, but that's mainly due to album sales falling. Single sales are rising though from the nadir of 2005-06.
