Thanks for the MW post Martin - Amazing sales for Take That - 5.5 million since their return! :o :w00t:

Shame theres no xmas songs bar Geraldine top 10. its quite sad that X-factor has this much power in the charts (not that I have anything against Alexandra before anyone starts something!)

Any news on P!nk today? still non-mover?

any rhydian sales info please.

Yeah, album non mover, single not top 40.

Just added a few things M+Ms missed. For some reason Duffy is back top 40 on singles

 Sure it's not the worst you've seen out there...

did brits album go 4 - 14 - 20? the x factor did wonders for britney, if she didnt perform on it the single would be about 20 i think cos it did quite well off back off x factor. i also reckon the album wouldnt have gone top 5. shame we'll never know. im trying to work out if 4 - 14 - 20 is any good, well its not awful is it, by sunday it will prob have fallen to 21 or 22.

im also interested in how much leonas a moment like this sold in its first week, because x factor has gotten bigger since then hasnt it?

thans for the mids

It's not about positions though...

It's not about positions though...

That's exactly how I feel..

I mean it's brilliant when songs are high up in top 10/5 BUT it's all about the sales!

On the other hand a poll conducted by AOL users found that 70 odd percent felt that Jeff Buckley will number 1 on Sunday...What world do they live in!?! Even if I had no sales info or charts info at all, I wouldn't think Jeff would beat Alexandra! :D

Also, I know it's a bit vague but I can't find it on Msn anymore..I think it was about 20k of people voted too

supose not but was really funny, lol gets your morale going. :yahoo:

Oooh..where abouts are X Factor Finalists - Hero as a matter of interest, i was thinking it might have rised with the whole hype of X Factor?

Assuming Run doesn’t wrestle its way back to number two before the end of the week, Hallelujah will become the first song ever to hold down the number one and two slots in the chart simultaneously.

What about Answer Me - versions by Frankie Laine & David Whitfield swopped the no.1 & no.2, and even shared the no.1 position for one week.

Just to make it clear now, we are not sure if there be any midweeks next Tues and Weds just play it by ear, if there is I shall post or other members/mods will. I won't be here unfortunately until my new ISP provider kicks in sometime next Tuesday. I hate to see a member coming here on Xmas Day or Boxing Day asking for mids it be well funny.

As for next week's chart it be pretty samey anyway, hardly any new releases are going to dent the charts.

And his album isn't being advertised on TV unlike some that seem to be featured in every ad break...he's doing great  :D

I've seen his album advertised a fair amount, he's in a photo booth with random people in it.

She did 'Rain On Your Parade' on Royal Variety.

I hope Beyoncé stays top 10 with 'Listen'. :( How far behind was the #11 on sales yesterday?

She is safe, #11 is on sales of 14k yesterday

Actually there was a 4k gap between #8 and #9 yesterday

Phew, I hope so, she's slipping a bit on iTunes now.

I think she gave the best performance...well her dancers did, but Leona was the best vocally.

The loving kind may get a place on the xmas chart then :D

Great to still see GA at no5 in albums.
