Avenue were dropped by Island/Universal when their debut single 'Last Goodbye' reached #50, They have now signed to independent record lable 'Crown Records' (The management team behind the lable have had previous success with the Sugababes and Gabriella Cilmi). They are headling a tour in February 2009 and have just added 'Can You Feel It' for free download on 7Digital.

Can You Feel It

Free legal download at 7Digital - http://indiestore.7digital.com/stores/indi...shopname=avenue

So what do you think?! Can they make it?! I like them but think they have no chance now without the backing of a major lable

I thought they were under Island? Confused

You right for some reason I thought it was Polydor - Anyway they have been dropped :kink:

Their new management is well known for being c**p though so im not holding out much hope for them. It was a shame though, Last Goodbye was a very decent effort.

An Orson cover :P

I guessed it might be a cover but I didn't know who the original was by :P I like the song though :)

Yeah, it was on Culture Vultures (the album that flopped -_-) One of my favourite songs on the album tbf...this doesn't drift far away from the original at all...

Was the other song originally by 'V'...i can't remember how that one went

Will flop again...

Depends what their new material is like although I don't hold out much hope without the backing of a major lable.

Oh yes...i remember now from like the forst 5 seconds of it

But yeah, they'll blatently flop :( I liked Last Goodbye (#11 hit in my PC), shame they didn't promote it :(

Last Goodbye was very good IMO, deserved to do much better !

I'd like them to have some success actually ^_^

Last Goodbye is  The best boyband single of recent times IMO -_-

I like this too actually!

I can't see these ever having success. If they couldn't get attention after appearing on X Factor then they're never gonna have any.
