December 29, 200816 yr N-Dubz Ouch, should've been way higher. Papa Can You Hear Me wasn't a flop at all though but the next single (Strong Again) deserves a top 10 at least. Cilmi's Warm This Winter, easily xmas song of the year, also .
December 29, 200816 yr Kylie - The One (this deserved so much higher than #36, this is by far one of her best tracks ever) Cassie - Is It You (I forgot about this one this was one of my most played songs this year soooo much better than 'Official Girl') Sugababes - No Can Do/Catfights & Spotlights (I really have no idea why these are flopping as bad as they are...It's the Sugababes! Where are 400,000+ people that bought About You Now? or the 500,000+ people that bought 'Change' the album?) Robyn - Who's That Girl? - It only made #26 I think, it should have been wayyy higher, at least top 20. Anastacia - The whole Heavy Rotation era- what happened? her last album was amazing, Left Outside Alone was epic...but this album isn't that good...and i really do not like her look, she looks so old now, what happened to the Anastacia from the LOA video??? Michelle Williams - The Whole era- Her album is amazing! We Break The Dawn is such a good song, it's not fair Beyonces album isn't a patch on Michelle's yet she sells by the bucket loads, and Michelle's album which is actually good, bombs...ugh.
December 29, 200816 yr All the Roisin Murphy singles should've been top 3 at least - You Know Me Better is surely the electropop single of the year.... a song Kylie would sell her right arm for (and probably should have considering how Godawful 'X' was) :(
December 29, 200816 yr Melee - Built To Last & Sandi Thom - The Devils Beat were my two major flops that shouldn't have happened :( Why did radio not cling to them :( ADD: Cassie - Is It You, The Hoosiers - Worst Case Scenario and The Feeling two last singles (Without You was dire and deservedly flopped :P)Â Cyndi Lauper - Into The Night So much that you can't remember its title is Into The Nightlife :P  Â Sandi though flopped basically because she was Sandi Thom, radio 1 for instance just like Ashlee Simpson probably were too embarrased to support her. I don't get what's so bad about Sandi, yeah, Punkrocker was a bit cringeworthy...but nothing else :P She even fits in with the so-called 'respectable' singer-songwriters :SÂ Melee - Built To Last  Whoever said that, I completely agree, its like the sort of song they play at the end of Big Brother or something. Great song! Moi! Love to song, and the album!!! But WHERE was the promo???
December 29, 200816 yr Sugababes - No Can Do/Catfights & Spotlights (I really have no idea why these are flopping as bad as they are...It's the Sugababes! Where are 400,000+ people that bought About You Now? or the 500,000+ people that bought 'Change' the album?)Â they were all alienated in one fell swoop, also known as 'Girls'
December 30, 200816 yr Defo Sugas- No Can Do / Catfights & Spotlights - no idea why these are flopping- they are both awesome!
December 30, 200816 yr I have another one. Jason Mraz - I'm Yours Why? Because the UK Public or the Promotion Team sucks! Released twice, doesn't deserve it's results! Similar thing as Colbie Caillat - Bubbly Edited December 30, 200816 yr by funmaker11
December 30, 200816 yr Sugababes ~ No Can Do Gabriella Cilmi ~ Save The Lies & Warm This Winter, even Sanctuary deserved top 40 at least Girls Aloud ~ St Trinians Chant (OK it wasn't really a flop, more of a missed opportunity) Leon Jackson ~ Creative: A brilliant track but didn't even make top 40 IIRC
December 30, 200816 yr Pussycat Dolls - I Hate This Part By FAR the most undeserved flop of the year for me. Ashlee didn't deserve to either, but I kinda saw that one coming tbh.
December 30, 200816 yr I liked "Better" . The first song from Boyzone i liked - and it flopped badly. At least for the songwriter's sake, i wished it to go nice in top 20.

December 30, 200816 yr Leon Jackson ~ Creative: A brilliant track but didn't even make top 40 IIRCÂ Its not been released yet!
December 31, 200816 yr Didn't really 'flop', charting at 4 just a few copies behind 3 at its peak, but it would have been nice for Lies by McFly to stick around a bit longer. It's one of their best singles and compared, they've had some poor releases stick around far longer. Â
December 31, 200816 yr Anastacia-I Can Feel You Dido-Don't Believe In Love They weren't their best tracks but neither of them deserved to flop that badly. No exposure or promotion was the reason for these flops I think. Dido I agree with. Don't Believe In Love was her weakest single, but not completely terrible. It's a shame because she didn't have much choice; it's most radio-friendly track on the album, but also the dullest. If she wants to release anymore singles from it, I really think she's going to have get some remixes done (although I suspect the album will just be given up on). Anastacia...much as I've LOVED her first three albums, "I Can Feel You" was probably the most half-arsed, p***-poor single released this year by anyone. It was like a rejected Dannii Minogue B-side. And she did everything else wrong aswell; weak promotion, terrible live performances, lies about her age, and a new surgically "enhanced" deformity of a face that's aged her 20 years. What makes it all worse is that it took her FOUR YEARS to come up with this. I'm bitterly disappointed by her. Edited December 31, 200816 yr by Shoat
December 31, 200816 yr Kylie Minogue - The One Natasha Bedingfield - Love Like This Mariah Carey - I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head Britney Spears - Break The Ice Jordin Sparks - Tattoo Janet Jackson - Feedback The Saturdays - If This Is Love (Should've done as good as "Up") Madonna - Miles Away Annie - I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me Alanis Morisette! She really needs to leave Maverick A.S.A.P
December 31, 200816 yr I think the Feeling flopped far too much this year, or seem to remember so. Their songs were actually really good, in my opinion. I bought their new album in the Woolworths sale the other day so I'll give it a listen today, but I really did like their singles.

Their songs have to usually really grow on me, but No Can Do I liked straight away.
