Headhunted is still up there as one of my own entries that I like the most, I was absolutely gutted at the hate campaign directed against it...I know it was 'out there' but I was obsessed with it  and both of my sisters thought that Headhunted was some sort of joke song

Headhunted was actually FANTASTIC. It's up there with Embrace and WYRMT for songs from old BJSCs which I play at least twice weekly :o

Hmmm, I found Erik Hassle on a blog...then went on PopJustice and noticed he was Song of the Day, which was mildly annoying
Oh, and when it comes to XV I am VERY excited to see how Pixie will do seeing as she's split opinion so fantastically with Here We Go Again...I hope we shan't see another Headhunted as HWGA is FANTASTIC

Kissing in the dark of night, never wanna say goodnight

Vooote Janet

No one's ever sung like this, 'Breakaway' should win all this

Voote Janet

Will you vote KoS in XV?

Oo...

Took me a good five minutes to get that to rhyme -_-

Hmm, well going by the previous trend, I've composed something I like to call the Kopeček algorithm :drama:

Contests waited until victory (from the first contest participated in) = number of contests it takes to resort to the argument of 'it's about time for a win' (Kopečka = 6) + number of disappointments (Kopečka - 2 (III and VI)) + number of successful risks (Kopečka = 1 (X)) + number of failed risks (prior to victory) (Kopečka = 1 (XI)) + number of cheap entries (3 = II, VII, IX) + worst result points-wise (31 = III) + number of non-top ten finishes (4 = II, III, VIII, XI) + the number of non-qualifications (0); divided by the number of the most successful contest results-wise to date (differentiate by percentage of votes) (IV - Stefy, 3rd); which conveniently comes out with 12, the contest in which La Roux won :kink:

...............what on earth was that all about!!?

To be honest I was hoping on an HQ version of his song with Kelly Rowland to leak though. This is good, but not as epic as that sounds...

Thanks for the input. I'm not sure how well dance does

+ the number of non-qualifications (0)

Tyron that wasn't even nessessary, you're just boasting there :heehee:

It is necessary for Nickodonia :P

My first potential entry for BJSCXV. Opinions? :)

Which I'm keeping under wraps for now

glad that u liked it...

I wonder who's that lol

I almost chose 'My Love' instead of Private to XIV

Oh gosh...I almost couldnt sleep trying to figure it out where did I heard about Bird and the Bee...thanks lol

and yeah My love is amazing aswell, but not quite enough as Love Letter to Japan IMO.

I get 11.5

Rounded would be Red Blooded Women's wonderful 20th in XII.

Unless of course i have f***ed up somewhere, feel free to work out when Ashton should be victorious.

12 contests since you started seriously going for the win ;o I went from the beginning so didn't include it in there, but some countries don't go all out FTW for a few contests...

OK, I'm trying to compensate for the algorithm here, but try it out :kink:

tbh when did i first use the argument? now do we reckon.

and is Colour Me Dirty a successful risk? i know YMYB isn't but i think Alone is.

oh and i know % wise VI was Ashton's best score.

i still get 11.5

so we'll round that to 12.

I reckon i first went FTW properly in IV.

I was an experiment, II was just becasue i couldn't enter Mutya until III, and III was because i really wanted to enter Mut.

So that makes the projected win of XVI, or possibly XV.

Looks like Alex Roots or X will do it for Ashton :cheer:
