February 8, 200917 yr Not for every female artist. for example Britney's debut album released "BOMT" followed by "Crazy" then 'Sometimes" which was a good hit & then "Born To Make You Happy" which was number one. Born to Make You Happy is a mid-tempo though, but I see what you mean - Thinking Of You's midtempo as well.
