February 11, 200916 yr Author thanks all for your comments, I have decided, and someone please nudge me incase I forget, that as a one-off at the end of the year, I'll do a lengthy chart commentary on the top 40 singles and albums of the year :D I might do one mid-way through the year too... I always enjoyed doing them for the simple fact that I found out a lot of info for myself whilst researching, it is more the fact that I haven't got so much free time that I'm stopping doing it...I still have a great interest for the charts, I just feel like I can't keep talking about the same 38 songs (with 2 new ones) week in week out anymore... maybe if the top 40 ever speeds up again I'll take my job back :P

I also like how you manage to take time out on your busy sundays to do this. A very big hardworker you are. Maybe there could be a hope you might return with it sometime. But It won't be the same :D thanks Rob, in fact I wrote it on the Saturday (based on the last set of mids) and then tweaked it on the Sunday night before I posted it, hence some of the mistakes sometimes when I forgot to correct something :heehee:

I used to write chart commentaries in a blog of the German, UK and US charts. I really liked it but I've finished it. It was too much in the end and I ran out of good ideas. Although it was in Hungarian I still could try it, what do you think? :D And of course thanks Rich, I will never write such good commentaries as yours were.
February 12, 200916 yr Note: this is my last chart commentary, I haven't really got the time to devote to it anymore, it takes a good 2-4 hours to write and my interest in the UK top 40 is waning severely, hopefully somebody else will step into my position, sorry to anybody who enjoys reading it, I've really loved doing it for the past year and a half but I have to put other things first now unfortunately :( Thanks for your good work on this Richard. Your write ups have been quite exceptional. It's not always easy to comment without being bland....that was a great read etc. But rest assured your input has been very much welcomed.

February 13, 200916 yr Thank you, for all your hard work producing the commentaries gooddelta, they will be missed. I shall have a go as I have considered producing one in the past but held off as I thought that it would look like a poor relation to gooddelta’s efforts! We shall see what people make of it on Sunday! :lol:

February 15, 200916 yr Thanks for all the columns, Good delta - was one of my first ports of call on a Sunday night. Love the idea of a end of the year review ... I remember James Masterton did a top 30 of the year's best sellers - I have a hard copy of his 1997 edition.
