Sorry if this has been done before, but what are your ten WORST tracks pre 2000? Surely the worst would have to be that Soulja Boy evilness :puke2: but as that's fairly recent, let's stick with pre 2000:

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Boyzone - No Matter What

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Craig David - 7 Days

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: The Tweets - Birdie Song

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Black Lace - Agadoo

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Chris De Burgh - Lady In Red

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Various Artists - Perfect Day

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Vanilla - No Way No Way

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Brotherhood Of Man - Save All Your Kisses For Me

:puke2: :puke2: Michael Jackson - Earth Song

:puke2: The Simpsons - Do The Bartman

well the 00's certainly saw some of the worst tracks ever, from 'novelty' like the crazy frog, through fatman scoop to manufactured westlife carp!

obviously bob the builder, mr blobby type kids stuff would be automatically entered.

lena martell - one day at a time

most of barry whites cack

most sweet soul, its an offence to my ears, chi-lites, stylistics, moments and whatnaughts, sweet sensation etc

smokey robinson - being with you

stevie wonder - i just called to say i love you

sonia.... everything she ever did

brotherhood of man - 'save all your kisses for me'? well thats bad but surely 'angelo' and 'figaro' were much worse!

tight fit - the lion sleeps tonight

jive bunny ... everything

the dooleys ... everything

the nolans...... everything apart from 'im in the mood for dancing' which was ok

sonia.... everything she ever did

Oooooooooooh how very dare YOU!!!

Not strictly speaking retro, but yes Craig David is pure vulger and "7 Days" is the most self-indulgent, syrupy pile of dog turd in recent memory. Why hasn't this bloke been shot yet? A complete lack of justice in the world I tell ya!
nothing can beat "Teddy Bear" by Red Sovine for being the worst song ever to grace (or disgrace) the top 40... an absolutely awful record that somehow made its way to number 4 in 1981.
Kid Cudi - Day N Nite :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:

A little premature personally.

This is a retro forum!

Baz Lhurman - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:
:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Vanilla - No Way No Way

OMG yes! This is awful, it sounds like a group of Roxy Mitchells attempting to sing.

I also hated "Sweet Like Chocolate" by Shanks and Bigfoot a lot when I was younger. Another one, that I used to sing my heart out to, is Lolly's "Viva La Radio" but it's awful. I hated Eminem's debut single as well. :puke2:

(yes those are all from 1999, it's pretty much one of the only years I've followed the charts for the whole year, let alone a retro year!)

Cliff Richard - anything from 1980 onwards really, special mention goes to The Millennium Prayer

Roxette - I Wish I Could Fly - something about this track really grates on me

 thats sooo bad its actually FUNNY!

I Should Be So Lucky by far worst song ever.

I don't think I Should Be So Lucky is the worst, but I can see why some would find it annoying. Surely her version of Locomotion is her worst one?

I've heard Teddy Bear. Dear God! Yep, I'd put it up there with the worst.

A couple I forgot to add:

Jonathan King - Uno Palama Blanca :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: whatever your views are off this man, the song, if you can call it that, is still a crime against humanity.

USA 4 Africa - We Are The World - while the video is unintentionally hilarious, the song is dire. The Spitting Image version is far superior

Paul McCartney - Frog Chorus

Paul McCartney - Mull of Kintyre

Will add more later when I remember

LOL. I think Paul McCartney is overrated...

Tbh, anything novelty, or from Simon Cowell (i.e. Sonia, more novelty tracks) or just 90's cheese.

Pre 2000:

Off the top of my head:

I'd Rather Jack - The Reynolds Girls

Agadoo - Black Lace

Candle In The Wind 1997 - Elton John

Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus

Orville's Song - Keith Harris and Orville

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - Bombalurina feat. Timmy Mallett

There's No One Quite Like Grandma - St. Winifred's School Choir

Mr Blobby - Mr Blobby

Teletubbies Say 'Eh-Oh' - The Teletubbies

The Birdie Song - The Tweets

Long Haired Lover From Liverpool - Little Jimmy Osmond

Boys (Summertime Love) - Sabrina

Just Say No - Grange Hill Cast

Grandad - Clive Dunn

Save Your Love - Rene and Renato

Fog On The Tyne (Revisited) - Gazza and Lindisfarne

Anyone Can Fall In Love - Anita Dobson

Every Loser Wins - Nick Berry

Doop - Doop

Cotton Eye Joe - The Rednex

So Macho - Sinitta

That will do for now.....

So Macho - Sinitta

Don't forget that hideous 'Toyboy' track she did...

Disregarding the obvious tat I would suggest (Not necessarily the worst but I loathe these):

Jenny from the Block - J-Lo

Against All Odds - Phil Collins

Uptown Girl - Billy Joel

Zephyr Song - Red Hot Chilli Peppers

I Just Called to Say I Love You - Stevie Wonder

I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
