Does anyone have a list of those old songs that returned to the charts since downloads were counted at the beginning of 2007?

I was thinking of songs like In the air tonight and Let your love flow because of adverts. Also christmas songs, songs from movies etc.

Thank you

Here are some more songs that reached the Top 75 in 2007 or 2008 having first done so in a previous year:-

Mamma Mia - ABBA (coz of the movie musical)

Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler

Mistletoe & Wine - Cliff Richard

Fix You - Coldplay

Heaven - DJ Sammy (seems to creep in every now and then for some reason)

Rocket Man - Elton John (used in Life on Mars TV show)

Imagine - John Lennon

I Predict a Riot - Kaiser Chiefs

Mr Brightside - Killers (nearly always in the top 100!)

All I Want for Xmas Is You - Mariah

Man In the Mirror - Michael Jackson (coz of X-factor)

Thriller - Michael Jackson (coz of X-factor)

Extreme Ways - Moby (used in Bourne movie trailer, or something)

Torn - Natalie Imbruglia

Maneater - Nelly Furtado

How You Remind Me - Nickelback (coz of "Rockstar" popularity)

I'm Gonna Be - Proclaimers (coz of Peter Kay version)

I'll Be Missing You - Puff Daddy

Dont Stop Me Now - Queen (coz of McFly version and used on advert)

Creep - Radiohead

Never Forget - Take That

With or Without You - U2

Bitter Sweet Symphony - The Verve

Seven Nation Army - White Stripes

I only know these because I have the songs, but I'm sure there's plenty more.

I assume you mean re-entering the Top 40, as there have been tons of them re-entering the T200!

Thriller - Michael Jackson (coz of X-factor)

I don't recall anyone doing this on X-Factor - it re-entered due to Halloween.

Why did Honey To The Bee return? :P

As far as I can remember it was a campaign of a Radio 1 presenter to get the song back to the top 10 after downloads were allowed to chart whenever they are released.

Yep, Chris Moyles. Basically he just exploited the whole thing...

I imagine it re-entered due to being a prominent feature in Britain's Got Talent... ;)

Baz Luhrmann re-entered because Jo Whiley played it on her show

Also P Diddy with I'll Be Missing You twice once because of the Diana concert and the other time because of Valentine's Day and the Notorious BIG movie and Weezer because of the 90210 advert

Baz Luhrmann re-entered because Jo Whiley played it on her show

And that's enough for it to re-enter the charts?

Also, a couple others:

-> Radiohead: Creep (re-entered due to their catalogue being able to be downloaded)

-> Snow Patrol: Run (possibly because of the then-unavailable Leona Lewis version of it)
