More totalitarian than communist ^_^

 

But communism in the soviet union was a kind of totalitarism though, and I think that's the kind of communism he was referring to.

Both fascism and communism can be totalitarian, depending on the system you are referring too : communist Russia (before it became Russia) or fascist Germany and Italia (back in the 30s) for example.

Communism and fascism refer more to political views and ideologies, while totalitarism refers more to the way those political views are expressed and translated in a country's system & rules, I think.

I've never actually heard the song, but Beyonce cannot produce anything other than complete utter crap.

You are wrong. Not all Bey's stuff is to my taste but when she belts out Irreplaceable or Listen live then you get to see/hear a truely great singer. Halo is a song worthy of such a fantastic talent and I would bet on it reaching No 1 in the next few weeks. It was written by Ryan Tedder, writer of Bleeding Love for Leona. Leona being the other singer who could have done Halo justice (rumour has it she was too busy to use it so Ryan gave it to Bey).
