March 3, 200916 yr Flo Rida (the david) has it really tough this week up against The Saturdays (the goliath) huge tv promo/its also for charity so buy it/we also have physicals boosting us campaign. he could cause an upset. both songs are weak, from Flo Rida watered right down rap track with the too obvious sample and very pop catchy chorus. to The Saturdays uninspired forgettable cover, you can imagine sugababes/GA doing this fodder. there is nothing interesting or unique about it and the end part is incredibly repetitive. as someone who is objective not part of any of those acts fanbase....the Flo Rida track is "fresher" and has more going on. if it makes #1 then it makes perfect sense to me but the promo could save TS
March 3, 200916 yr Red Light Company is not Top 40 in singles :( But Top 15 in albums :o Edited March 3, 200916 yr by funmaker11
March 3, 200916 yr Will Young is at #2 on the physicals chart. LOL, he has sold a very little downloads then.
March 3, 200916 yr lol at a lame song like this topping the chart...i know its for charity but it has no personality whatsoever
March 3, 200916 yr I hope The Sats hold on to #01 for at least this week! :D If Flo Rida doesn't get it this week, I'll imagine it'll just be a big selling #02 as 'Islands In The Stream' will be #01 for at least two weeks and then Flo Rida would've most likely lost its hype.
March 3, 200916 yr ABBA Gold still top 30!!! Anyone know the sales between this and Oasis in the UK's best selling albums. Did it eventually overtake it?
March 3, 200916 yr Happy to see Will's album moving up again, I never really expected the single to do anything much with the lack of radio and tv airplay and I think it'll drop out by tomorrow, I think Take That will end up in the top 10 and I can also see Flo Rida coming close to nabbing the #1 by sunday.
March 3, 200916 yr Author ABBA Gold still top 30!!! Anyone know the sales between this and Oasis in the UK's best selling albums. Did it eventually overtake it? If I remember rightly ABBA Gold has overtaken Oasis, I'm sure Zeus555 will be able to confirm this.
March 3, 200916 yr Absolutely superb sales for U2! No Line On The Horizon should shift at least 150k by Sunday! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Very close on the singles, looks like The Saturdays physicals are swaying it in their favour. I just wonder though if Flo Rida builds up a substantial lead on iTunes whether he could overhaul them later in the week? Oh and Kelly Clarkson will be the first act ever to be knocked off the No1 spot on the physical release week after going in at No1 on downloads alone!
March 3, 200916 yr Pleasing sales for The Sats and especially Kelly :o  Now I'm DESPERATE to find out how far behind Flo is :( I would LOVE Kelly to stick at 2, but I can see Flo over taking Kelly at the LEAST... The Sats I think will stick at number 1 all week, but I would like it if Flo overtook them aswell! Oh and Martin... can I have The Script info Please? :kink: Edited March 3, 200916 yr by Jonjo
March 3, 200916 yr Fantastic for The Sats, really hope they can stay there for the rest of the week though
March 3, 200916 yr Mega LOL at them calling Tina Turner "Tuna Turner". I think Flo Rida is quite likely to pip The Saturdays to #1, especially as Comic Relief isn't this week. It'll be close I imagine.
March 3, 200916 yr The Saturdays uninspired forgettable cover, there is nothing interesting or unique about it and the end part is incredibly repetitive. as someone who is objective not part of any of those acts fanbase....the Flo Rida track is "fresher" and has more going on. if it makes #1 then it makes perfect sense to me Exactly! :o And I really hope Flo Rida does start gaining a big enough iTunes lead on the Sats, I really don't think its David vs Goliath contest either.. UGHH If people could just open their eyes/ears to which is the worser song that they shouldnt buy then The Sats would do a McFly and not top the chart, which would be a godsent!
March 3, 200916 yr ^^ if someone would take their head out of a dark place then they could try and stop having a go at people just because they like JCGE and actually it's a good song as it's just meant as a bit of fun, a lot like the atrocious cover of WTW that GA and Sugababes did 2 years ago. The Saturdays >>>>>>>> Flo Rida >>>>>>>>>>> Sugababes Vs. Girls Aloud. Edited March 3, 200916 yr by On The Hustle
March 3, 200916 yr Amazing and expected result for The Saturdays! So good to have seen them gone from strength to strength! :cheer: Really disappointed that Take That might miss the Top 10 after such a good start to the chart career of UAN!
March 3, 200916 yr I find it funny that a Girls Aloud fan is talking bad about a band pretty much immitating them. Anyway, i don't who gets #1, as long as it isn't Kelly or Taylor
