Gaga is gaining - Flo now only has a 20% lead after being as far in front as 43% on Sunday.

Is Gaga gaining, Flow falling or both?

I'd find it incredibly shocking if 'Poker Face' and 'Halo' made number one. Especially when you bear in mind the last number one single which wasn't already available on an album was 'The Way I Are'. It just doesn't happen any more, probably mainly to do with their tendancy to sell downloads for too many weeks before peaking.

 

I'd still include 'Run' as it was off a new version of the album and was only released a week after. Still technically a lead single really...

It's not really possible to tell whether songs fall/climb because it's geting a boost in sales or if the songs above it are losing sales except when it's obvious. (e.g. if a song climbs after a performance or when it's just been added)

a good way to see if the #1 is falling is comparing it to the pop bars at 100 if the bars at the bottom are getting bigger then Flo is falling, e.g when Alexandra Burke zoomed to #1, the #100 song only had 1 pop bar, but when her sales started to decrease the #100 song was getting more and more pop bars.

Well Gaga has been gaining sales significantly each week for the last six weeksish and airplay is still increasing so I think sales will continue to. She's starting promotion for Poker Face soon too (apparently) so that should push up sales further!

who would have thought that The Sats would have done better of that rubbish Ant and Dec performance than Girls Aloud with that much better more watched Dancing On Ice performance.

 

I think it's because Work is better, but only slightly, or people don't want to buy the long version of Untouchable, or because more people already have it. I'd go with a mix of the first and the last one.
