March 22, 200917 yr Author 13 (from 18) James Morrison Feat. Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1792152.JPG Chart Run: 73-51-31-18-6-4-5-2-3-4-5-7-6-7-14-19-18-13 [18 wks] Release date: 8-12-2008 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1792152 Label: POLYDOR Rugby, U.K., singer-songwriter James Morrison could be the genetic offspring of James Blunt, Joss Stone, and Terence Trent-D'Arby. Soulful vocals mixed with sensitive acoustic guitars, and some tasteful Beatles-esque string flourishes, and there you have it. Morrison's debut album, UNDISCOVERED, released in July of 2006, owed as much to contemporaries KT Tunstall and Damien Rice as it did to legends like Otis Redding, Cat Stevens, or Nick Drake--and that undeniably successful formula, not surprisingly, took the album to the top of the U.K. album charts. - HMV Video here: track listing 1. March 22, 200917 yr I'm going to buy the Pet Shop Boys album next week, I'm actually very excited for it. Their last album was great and I have every confidence that this will be at least as good.
March 22, 200917 yr Prediction: Pet Shop Boys get the exact same Top 40 run as Tommy Reilly's Gimme A Call.
March 22, 200917 yr well at least oet shop boys held their number 14 peak midweek position i just hope it canb sta top 40 next week With ronan keating going number 1 i was wondering when was the last time we had 2 consecutive Irish Number 1 albums in the UK?
March 22, 200917 yr So happy for La Roux, I've been commenting all around UK Chart Chat about her position all week, I'm delighted that she's getting the recognition she deserves. She's done so well, with not much promotion, and not that much TV airplay.
March 22, 200917 yr La Roux at #12 I guess or even scrape Top 11. :D Almost certainly #12 unless it overtook 'Just Dance' at the weekend, which is unlikely.
March 22, 200917 yr I guess I'm the only one in here who doesn't like this. I just find PSB's really boring - sorry :( You're not alone :)
March 22, 200917 yr Isn't La Roux a band? Or, more exactly, a duo. Edited March 22, 200917 yr by B-rye
