TBH he's nowhere so successful, only in the UK and the US.

And they've also been advertising as Taylor as a #1 contender while they haven't with PCD so likely meaning Taylor will be higher?

Discussion Thread Here

I'm loving both at the moment, I don't mind which is #1.

I'm loving both also, my #2 and #3 favourite song of the moment behind Jai Ho. I would just prefer Noisettes as Poker Face has already had its #1.

Metro Station - Shake It

UK #9

Australia #2

Canada #4

Ireland #7

New Zealand #9

US #10

Holland #22

Belgium #32

Sweden #55

I'm really confused. How many more non-movers are there in the chart?
I do love Metro Station, but I'm happier they've kept at #9 most likely for the sake of Noisettes.
They're not even that similar. They're both fast rock-pop songs. But, thats what she does. This is better IMO.

Well, Amy MacDonald also does pop-rock (sometimes fast) songs but they're very different and the ones cites by me seem to use exactly the same formula and to me have a quite similar melody. They even start in the same way! Same producers and writers? I wouldn't be surprised

Metro Station's song on the other hand is a bit better but doesn't deserve Top 10 because there's nothing exceptional about the tune, so average...

Just the 1, as Akon is basically 100% certain to be #8.

I hate this song with a passion. Can't believe it made top 10 - hopfully #9 is it's peak! :(
*calms down*

I can't calm down, everybody went crazy last week when Poker Face was #1, I intend to do the same if Noisettes are #1

Good point. I reckon the Noisettes have it.

you keep on asking the same question...

Actually I remembered Shake It is a better track, but it isn't :P
