lol yes, that flag feels a bit silly now :lol: It never really felt like a proper flag tbh and I've been wanting to change it for a while. Oh, and it's supposed to depict a gorgon :lol: ^_^

This thread should now be updated with all the flags that I mentioned having changed in the other thread I just bumped - that was a lot of flags to keep track of though so anyone let me know if your flag is still out of date in here, or indeed if you fancy a flag update for any other reason xx

 

We still have a few gaps (including a new one in Eastovka) - calling on diva thin muffin to knock out a few flags for those that are currently flagless? :whistle: (if you have the time/inclination to do so ofc x)

Given this thread an update for the first time in a while - I guess in the absence of the YTD thread (I'm hopefully gonna get that running again very soon x) and any contests using flags there hasn't really been much incentive for our latest debuting nations to make flags, as such there have been 13 new countries since I last updated this but only 2 of them (Neliönoir - assuming the rectangular image they posted with their registration was a flag - and Pestolia) have actually made flags as far as I've seen. I've also added Eastovka's as posted above plus the latest new Kyriatine flag from when they rebranded. Let me know if I've missed any other flag redesigns x

 

If any of the other new nations want to make flags I would encourage this B-) (does not need to be high effort). I see Bronzil's national thread has a description of a flag and says that one is 'to be added' so *nudge* :magic:

 

As it stands there are 16 flagless nations, some of which are inactive (including Zaminton, RIP - maybe if someone could put together a nice flag for them in tribute xx)

African Grey and Ambienta are certainly interesting names I have not come across before, who do these belong to? I’m not sure the person behind Pukarnia is returning anytime soon. Jandre also indicated they were put off by their experience of BJSC in their only contest to date.

African Grey -> sorryislayed i think? (and I'm pretty sure this was a one-off and they've forgotten about this since they entered the contest during the height of the pandemic)

Thanks, added! (I made a smaller version in the standard size I use for all the other flags but if you want to change it to a different size yourself I think Imgur has a built in option to resize somewhere although I never use that, I use picresize.com to resize images and then just reupload them)

Which of the active participants still need to create a flag then? Starting to feel like helping my fellow mod James/Yobnedorica with some sort of design if they are willing to work with me on it. :lol:
