Weird thing is, I remember most of those songs except Goodies. It must have been so bad I blocked it from my memory :heehee:

Goodies is dire. The only song I love from her is 1, 2, Step and Oh is alright.
Goodies is frankly hideous. Oh was fine, but how the hell did it reach #4. Like A Boy was always her best IMO.
Yep, as is always the way, she started flopping when she got good. Goodies is pretty awful, Oh isn't exactly memorable. Like A Boy and Promise on the other hand...

That is certainly true IMHO with Ciara.

Ciara ft Petey Pablo - Goodies (2005 UK#1)

Still I wonder where in the chart you would get with 21,128 sales (that Goodies sold to reach UK#1) on Sunday?

:o What's with all the 'Goodies' hate? It's great  Not her best, but it's most certainly not THAT bad

Ciara is actually quite under-rated :( All her singles have been quite decent. (We'll ignore 'Go Girl')

I love Goodies, 1 2 Step & Oh more than LSM but Like A Boy is definately her best for me.
I loved Goodies at the time. It was so different to anything I'd heard at the time...1 2 Step was miles better, but both songs were brilliant! :o
Like A Boy is dire- although I bare bumlicked it back in the day. For me, "Oh" is her best ever song.

God!

It's awful..

Would not do a thing in the charts now.

'Goodies' was a shock #1 at the time, it was #4 in the midweeks but somehow managed to scrape #1 by the skin of it's teeth by the end of the week.

I know big climbs in the midweeks are common now, but back then you'd be lucky to climb any more than a couple of places from a midweek position.

Urban and Dance tracks always did better on Saturday sales for some reason. Also the first few Elvis releases were initially very limited, bizarrely shops we’re holding back just under 10k of the 30k for the second week to avoid empty spaces. So having sold 17k by the Tuesday he didn’t sell many more.

Ciara is #3

screamzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

La Roux #6 and #15 :o

Liverpool #21

P!nk #22

Britney #24

GA #40

I think it would. It might get to about #12, where it would with today's sales.
