The UK release schedule, as well as good old common sense, SWEO circulating music channels and Battle Cry's vid having yet to premiere.

On the whole prices debate...

 

As far as i'm aware iTunes said a few months ago they were going to be increasing the prices of songs on there. Why, I do not know. Especially since its far cheaper to buy a song on each of the other countries iTunes. It is my understanding that 'chart singles' (i've no dea how far this broadens) are going to be 99p whilst older songs are going to become cheaper. As far as I know too I think Amazon are going to branch out all their chart singles to be 29p.

As far as I know Amazon only sells the top 10 singles for 29p, not all. This is a bit aggressive from them, I guess when they want to win some market and they will increase the prices later when this promotion is over.

When I looked this morning about 2/3 of Amazon's top 100 were selling for 29p. About 5 songs at 79p and the rest split fairly evenly between 59p and 69p. Considering only one song in iTunes top 100 (Metro Station) is selling for less than 79p then it'd be understandable if iTunes started to lose market share.

It will be the next single - Battle Cry didn't chart, anywhere and it's crap. They re-released her album to include SWEO for the UK too.

well duh, but the fact that its considered a highlight by most people rating the album and the song itself suggests that it would be a good choice.

Katherine Jenkins was just on The Apprentice, and Sang Hallelujah.

 

Will we see the return of all the versions of hallelujah to the chart?!

also rather oddly I keep hearing 'Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)' a lot on my local commercial radio station, moreso than I hear Poker Face on there :wacko:

 

That is REALLY weird, though I still think this would be a great summer single here.

 

I really hope Hallelujah doesn't return, and if it does, no higher than top 120...

I've never seen BDR, only the 4music live version on 4music. Shontelle's SWEO is on the radio and is receiving significant tv airplay.
