Is anyone else getting completely BORED with this 'image change' which all artists are doing (problem is they are all taking same direction aka being the SAME)

Originality is fading it seems..

I partly agree with you, partly not.

 

On one hand, the artists NEED to change just to make some longevity but do it wisely. If you release the music with the practically the same sound, it won't sell in the long term (Kate Nash, Mika etc.) But while you are changing, you shouldn't be a copycat and bandwagon jumper (Sugababes 3.0/4.0, Miley Cyrus etc.).

Yeah completely agree with you Arrs, change is sometimes good yes, and an artist always needs to develop & improve. HOWEVER taking a direction which forgets the orginality of that artist which they debuted with and just completely changing to be famous and follow the croud i just dont agree with.

I'd rather be original then just copy others.
