May 17, 200917 yr Author 9 (from 13) The Prodigy - Warrior's Dance [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/HOSPCDS04.JPG Chart Run: 56-18-16-13-9 [5 wks] Release date: 11-5-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: HOSPCDS04 Label: COOKINGVINYL Picking up where Ministry and Nine Inch Nails left off, the Prodigy were a force to be reckoned with; a punk band in spirit, few electronic dance-rock band pushed the boundaries and rocked as viciously as The Prodigy did. The outfit slowly built a solid following throughout the 1990s, until 1996's MUSIC FOR THE JILTED GENERATION caught the eye of Madonna's Maverick Records. Their 1997 record, FAT OF THE LAND, was a breakout smash, buoyed by MTV's placing "Firestarter" on continuous loop. The Prodigy ignited a minor controversy with the video for "Smack My Bitch Up," which MTV eventually played despite full frontal nudity and massive drug use. While a touch of overhype spawned backlash, their core fans remained loyal through recordings into the next decade. - HMV Video here: track listing 1. Warrior's Dance [edit] 2. May 17, 200917 yr Fantastic for Prodigy: two top 10 hits from the same album! I need to buy the album now :cheer:
May 17, 200917 yr How can people claim this song is better than Omen? It's good indeed but the best part in it is the mystic background. #9 is what it deserves for.
May 17, 200917 yr I was hoping for the higher position for Prodigy. :( I actually thought that #8 is safe for them.
May 17, 200917 yr How can people claim this song is better than Omen? It's good indeed but the best part in it is the mystic background. #9 is what it deserves for. 'Omen' got really old quickly, I can't see this tiring as fast.
May 17, 200917 yr I should have trusted this to go top 10, but I predicted it at #12. =/ I predicted it at 13, after originally thinking it will be at 10. =/ Calvin overtaken. :o Edited May 17, 200917 yr by FunMaker11

May 17, 200917 yr Author 8 (from 4) Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697513252.JPG Chart Run: 1-1-3-4-4-8 [6 wks] Release date: 13-4-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697513252 Label: COLUMBIA Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV Video here: track listing 1. May 17, 200917 yr GaGa is still at least #7. Gosh darn it, why isn't it falling? 'sgetting old. Warior's Dance is the best Prodigy song since Breathe, as someone else said. Breathe was just epic. Edited May 17, 200917 yr by B-rye
May 17, 200917 yr 'Omen' got really old quickly, I can't see this tiring as fast. I on the other hand still love 'Omen' starting slowly to get tired of 'Warrior's Dance' even if it's much newer. :o
May 17, 200917 yr Arghh...prediction-wise...could've done with this at #7. But, seeing as I'm bored of this already, it's a good thing.
May 17, 200917 yr GaGa is still at least #7. Gosh darn it, why isn't it falling? 'sgetting old. 'Poker Face' will never get old. :D
May 17, 200917 yr GaGa is still at least #7. Gosh darn it, why isn't it falling? 'sgetting old. It might be #6, to carry on the 1-2-3-4-5-5-6 run. Each place. But, I presume it will be #7.
