June 14, 200917 yr It sold gold. :/ It did very well. Third singles and beyond rarely make the top 10 in Oz but to sell gold is an achievement. Eh Eh is brilliant, far better than the turd that is Love Game... Well if you say so. It was the 4th single in Oz and made #4 and is tearing up the US, so should be the 4th here by rights.
June 14, 200917 yr LG was meant to be third here, and they cancelled due to the lyrics. It won't be released. This is according to some website, so it's probably wrong and I'm an idiot. ;) If you believe the tabloids. As has been said, no other country has had a problem with it other than Australia (which was just the video, not the lyrics.) :)

June 14, 200917 yr 'By rights' we should get to hear something which isn't violent ear rape. Jesus. Regardless of whether you like the song or not, it is blatantly the best choice for our single after 'Paparazzi'. It's popular and lots of people know it for a start, and it's doing brilliantly in various countries.

Bearing the marked influence of "baggy" superstars the Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays, Kasabian set themselves apart from many of their neo-post-punk contemporaries with a potent blend of dancefloor rhythms, electronics, and rock 'n' roll swagger. In 2006 they released their second album, EMPIRE, which revealed a more straightforward, classic rock sound. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2004 19 Club Foot 2004 10 LSF 2004 17 Processed Beats 2005 08 Cutt Off 2005 21 Club Foot{2005} 2006 09 Empire 2006 17 Shoot The Runner 2007 22 Me Plus One 2009 03 Fire Discussion Thread Here

June 14, 200917 yr I really hope we DON'T get 'Love Game'. :( Really isn't as good as people make it out to be! However, I don't know what I want next as my favourite song off the album has now been released ('Paparazzi') so I couldn't care less about what is next. :D
June 14, 200917 yr Yup. Although they re-edited the video didn't they? Not sure. I keep seeing it on music channels and never noticed anything remarkable about it.

However, I don't know what I want next as my favourite song off the album has now been released ('Paparazzi') so I couldn't care less about what is next. :D The fact it has performed so well worldwide would suggest it is. ;) There comes a time when you have to accept you're in the minority :P e.g. I don't think Mama Do is anything special and yet it is gonna be #1 today. Go figure.
June 14, 200917 yr Yup. Although they re-edited the video didn't they? It's probably going to end up as the next single anyway. I can't see what they would release next.
