A British rapper who has had a lot of underground success, he is now Signed to Data/MOS for this release, I assume it's due for release in late summer but I can't see it on the release schedule anywhere, either way, it's been supported by Zane Lowe and Pete Tong already and it should make the Radio 1 playlist, has all the makings of a huge crossover hit, being an uplifting synth/rap/euphoric dance crossover song, hopefully will appeal to a lot of different people :D love love love this, already top three in my personal chart and my BJSC entry this month

Different but with crossover appeal (and just a little bit cheesey...). Don't mind it on first listen.

it's definitely the most commercial song he's done, I'm not surprised that he's had no mainstream success to date having heard his other material

I swear to god Peter Popjustice is reading the BJSC forum :kink:
I saw these/him yesterday and immediately thought of BJSC! Not my cup of tea at all tbh, but still decentish. ^_^

shouldn't be my cup of tea either really, but it really is fantastic

when I saw him live, this song jumped right out of the sea of monotony that was his other material :heehee:

I'm in trouble with youtube though, Ministry of Sound have taken it off :( like I knew it was going to become an 'in demand' track a few weeks later!

extended mix here;

25th/29 in the BJSC was a ridiculous result for a future UK number one :kink:

Mike Skinner's (The Streets - not to confuse the annoying rapper with the brilliant BBC Drama series ) mate, most famous for this answer back song that sank without trace:

Example - Vile

Of course Lily Allen won the BJSC (Nonsuch's sole victory :w00t:), so maybe that was why Example did so poorly?!

Example was in the music press this week:

''..The album campaign will be led by Watch The Sun Come Up which is off to a strong start at radio, with support from Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong, Jo Wiley, Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw, Judge Jules and Annie Nightingale. David Dollimore says that this broad range of supporters reflects the breadth of Example's potential target audience. ''We are going for a pretty wide base,'' he explains. ''We think there is a real international potential with this record. it has real longevity.'' The single is released on September 21.''
